    Is a bar owner,ex military and biker in a small town. He meets Holly when he saves her and her son in the bar. Its a short book with the middle skipped over but cute to read.

    Short mc story of a retired military man turned biker leader who needs to defend his town from the bad guys. He meets his nurse lover when she comes into his biker bar to retrieve her sixteen year old son. Great story line that's well written, but it's too short.

    A rough bar owner. A worried single mother. A rebellious teenager.

    Their chance encounter launches Mercenary and Holly into a relationship neither thought possible. Age difference, abandonment issues, lurking darkness from a past career, are all good reasons not to get involved but they aren't good enough to combat the lust and attraction they feel and eventually give into.

    Holly finds a man worth standing beside, a man who's more than his road name, more than the military career he left behind and the bitterness it created in him. Mercenary sees one hell of a woman in Holly. Her strength, resilience, devotion, and love are beacons of light and hope to this jaded warrior.

    Great story and characters. Rose rarely disappoints and this promises to be an interesting and intriguing series.

    This was a very good short story. I don’t understand why we don’t take care of our service people. so many have gone through so much we should be helping them all.

    Good MC read. Holly walks right into the Biker Bar to get her teenage son who is smoking and drinking and Holly is Angry.
    The Bikers, Holly's son is drinking with grabs her son and refuses to let her leave.
    Until the Bar owner Mercenary arrives, then everything changes.
