This was a super cute small town romance and it definitely has Gilmore Girls vibes as promised including the nosy townsfolk, which I always find kind of endearing, and town meetings, coffee, cute friends, the works.

Jeanie takes over her aunt’s coffee shop and is working thru some things when she meets Logan, the flannel wearing farmer who happens to deliver produce to the shop, who is also working thru some things. Small town shenanigans ensue. Jeanie meets Annie and Hazel, two fun side characters that happen to be best friends with Logan. There’s a little mystery that’s not that mysterious but it’s still cute. There’s fall festivals, book clubs, town meetings, farm animals named after pop stars. It’s got all the ????cozy???? vibes. There’s also a good bit of spice which honestly surprised me given how sugary sweet the story was around it. It is a little insta-lovey but that wasn’t a deal breaker in this one.

This was a solid read that was super quick and perfect for fall. It’s not breaking the mold and it’s very Hallmark movie, but it’s kind of like snuggling in your favorite blanket on a crisp autumn day.????

This was a cute, quick read. Nothing amazing, but it's a good distraction book! Fairly predictable, romantic story that's good for those days you just want to read something easy.

This book was so cute and gave all of the cozy vibes. Someone compared it to having Gilmore Girls vibes, and I agree. Plus, who doesn't love a sexy bearded farmer!?!

The book is a quick read; not a terribly complicated plot. It's like a Hallmark Fall vibe, but less PG- especially towards the end of the second half. If you want just a cute, simple fall story, this is a good one.

"Three" because it was "alright". It won't necessarily stick with me for life.

The perfect cozy small town romance going into fall. New in town jeanie + sexy farmer logan= pumpkin spicy!!! I absolutely adored this town and all of the people. I can't wait to take another trip back too Dream Harbor in the next book. I can tell this is going to be a series I just LOVE.

This story is very very cute, don’t get me wrong but it had so much more potential. Instead it just jumped from scene to scene to have them in it.. like there were pages about how nervous she was to open the cafe and then we didn’t get the opening day at all! Completely skipped the weekend and went to Logan’s POV. Lazy? Writers block? Idk.. there was no build up either, it was basically love at first sight.. and he was in no way “grumpy”.. he was a genuine teddy bear and displayed that from day one.. it you want something quick that flies by then yes, I recommend. If you’re looking for something more realistic or a slow burn, absolutely not.

The Pumpkin Spice Cafe by Laurie Gilmore is everything cozy, cute, romantic and fall! It’s book one of the Dream Harbor series.

Jeanie moves to Dream Harbor to take over her Aunt’s cafe where she meets Logan, the town’s sweet, sexy but often grumpy farmer. Sparks fly but things are anything but smooth sailing with these two!

This is a cute fall story that makes me wish that it isn’t the beginning of summer right now! The characters are likable and there are some twists that make it interesting.

Recommend for a sweet fall romance with some light spice and a hea!
