This is the 3rd book I’ve listened to in 48 hours in the Improbable Meet-cute collection and I’ve adored them all.
They are written so well, they draw you right in and make you feel…hope!

This was so cute. I was googling through the whole story. The ending got a little cheesy but I love the uniqueness of the story. I loved the effect on the voice they used to make it actually seem like they were talking through something.

Well, so far this series (The Improbable Meet-Cute Collection) has been a mixed bag for me. I loved the second story, but this one and the first were just okay. And while they all definitely fit into the cute and improbable categories, ROSIE AND THE DREAMBOAT just fell a little flat for me. Not only does the entire tale take place in a matter of hours, but I thought Rosie was a bit of a whiner too. She was nice enough and had a self-deprecating sense of humor which I could totally relate to but other than that she and Leo never felt like more to me than the characters that they were.

I really wish the author had included a brief epilogue or just some sort of update on this couple too because I simply wasn't buying into their romance. I honestly think Rosie's sister had more personality and think she would have made the better heroine but whatever. Overall this story was just mediocre and even the one-liners weren't very funny. I'm also not sure what Leo saw in Rosie and her insecurities got on my nerves a bit. Even for fiction this book was simply too unbelievable and too rushed to ever truly engage my emotions and I'm sorry to say I was glad to see it end.

I'd also like to note that even taking my time the story itself only took me about 40 or so minutes to complete and contains 36 pages of actual storytelling (not the 44 stated) since it starts on page 4 and ends on page 40.

This was a very cute and short read. What I loved about the book was how relatable it was. The FMC was able to overcome some of her past trauma while being in a very uncomfortable predicament. Her sister irritated me to no end because I couldn't believe that she left her stranded like that. This book was so good that I would certainly read another book by this author. I really enjoyed the pacing of it and the ending.

You can only pack so much into a 45 page short story, and this was done very well. What a fun, quirky, funny, unique meet cute! Can honestly say I’ve never read anything like it lol. It’s your classic he is the hero and saves her, but in a way I promise you wouldn’t ever think of! Super fun and cute short, definitely worth the read!

I think it could be a really great story line but the dialogue just isn’t it for me. Sometimes down right cringey. But again I do like to storyline and characters, just not dialogue

Very quick and easy read. It’s essentially one scene with Rosie and Leo. But is is packed with witty banter, flirting; and so much possibilities. I enjoyed it
