About this item

From Amazon #1 bestselling author Amy Daws, comes an all-new small town, spicy romance sure to hit you in the gut with laughs, feels, and mountain man grunts.

Help Wanted: Grumpy Mountain Man seeks baby momma. Job is an incubator position only. Surrogate must be impervious to grunting in the form of communication and nosey brotherly neighbors. Rustic mountain range housing available upon request.

I wanted to pummel my irritating brothers when they posted their own version of a wanted ad to help me with my life.

But I can’t fault the results once the right woman lands on my lap.

Becoming a single father is not a decision I made lightly. In fact, it’s the biggest decision of my entire life.

Which is why when I interview Trista, I know she’s perfect.

She’s wild, she’s opinionated, she wears cowboy boots. Even my pet goat loves her…

She’s the exact type of person I was holding out for.

And to my great horror, I realize on our first night of attempting this baby making dance…when the lights are low, the cheap wine is flowing, and the home insemination supplies are laid out on the kitchen counter…

I want to do a lot more than just make her my surrogate.

I want to make her mine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lucky & Mountain Man! ????????

When I tell you I fangirled so much when I saw the post announcing this book! This author is a go to of mine and has been for many years. After reading and loving Last on the List I was so thrilled that the rest of The Fletcher Brothers were getting their own books! I've been excited for this one ever since. Once I started reading it, I didn't turn away until I read it all in one sitting. I loved this story so dang much!!

Wyatt and Trista's journey pulled me right in! Wyatt lives on Fletcher Mountain with two of his brothers, Calder and Luke. He really wants to be a father, but doesn't want a relationship so he's trying the surrogacy route. Trista is trying her best to go after her dreams and open an wildlife animal rescue facility. Being a surrogate could help make that dream reality. When circumstances bring Wyatt and Trista together they realize they could help each other. The more they are around each other, the more feelings ignite between them. Can Trista and Wyatt ignore everything between them for Nine months and then go their separate ways? Who knows what all could happen on this mountain. ????

Can I just say I love the one of a kind way that Wyatt and Trista were brought into each other's lives? Wyatt wanting to become a father touched my heart and Trista going after her dreams had me cheering her on. These two and the back and forth between them were priceless and had me even more glued to them and their story! I didn't know how they'd tackle living on the same mountain together, the surrogacy, things in their lives, and of course, every feeling they brought out in each other's hearts and I couldn't turn away from them!

From the moments that had me smiling and blushing to the ones that got me choked up. I went through so many emotions with both Trista and Wyatt! There was so much more to both these two characters than meets the eye and getting to peel back both of their layers was truly special for me. I really enjoyed getting to see all the sides they brought out in one another and how they got each other. Trista and Wyatt were both so relatable and lovable to me. The chemistry that these two shared was undeniable, blushworthy, and truly heartwarming!

Letting another soul break through into your heart can be one of the toughest things, but so worth it which Wyatt and Trista's journey sure showed!

Oh my heart! I absolutely adored the Fletcher family! Being reunited with some of my favorites truly had me grinning ear to ear! I loved what everyone brought to the story and the grumpy/sunshine and forced proximity aspects of it all. I could picture everything so vividly in my mind that it had me wishing I lived on Fletcher Mountain. Also, I couldn't get over all the adorable animals featured throughout! ????

With Nine Month Contract, Ms.Daws has created one of the most unique and utterly entertaining stories I've ever had the honor of reading! This story was filled with depth and heart, hot kindle melting moments, strong bonds, hilarious exchanges, cute animals, true realness, and so much love! I already want to go back and reread this all over again. If you haven't read this author's work yet, please change that! Her stories and characters are day brighteners that stay with you long after you've reached the end! ????????

There's an author's note you can check out that's about the content within regarding surrogacy.

4.0 out of 5 stars First time with Amy, and wasn’t disappointed

I loved the concept of this book from the beginning. I really loved Wyatt’s character. I think we all secretly want a guy like him to come in our lives, wanting to take care of our every need, especially while being pregnant. I found Trista (at first) to be an extremely likable character. She marched to her own beat and I admired that about her. I knew as soon as I figured out the character was plus sized, that this would be presented as a problem for her self esteem later down the road. As a plus sized person myself, I understood her qualms and issues. However, as the book drowned on, I found myself getting VERY irritated with her character. There’s a position of wanting to be independent and on your own, and then there’s a position of just flat out standing in the way of your blessings. I understand her issues she had with her childhood, past, sister and parents, but I felt like she was trying her BEST to now see it from Wyatt’s point of view. I think Amy Daws could have done a better job of allowing us to see her bond with her baby in the book, and her realization that she was in fact, falling for him and the idea of being a mother. I honestly would have rated this book much higher, but Trista’s character was a little bit TOO GRUMPY for my taste. She allowed a lot of her insecurities get in the way of her happiness. I think I would have loved if she actually went and got some therapy prior to becoming a mother. She had a lot of unresolved guilt occurring, and she didn’t even understand her own sister’s view when it was presented. HOWEVER, this book DID make me want to read the story of Max and Cozy (Cassandra) so that’s a win. I can’t wait to read Caulder and Dakota’s story, as well as any future stories that come from this. I’d even been interested in seeing how Everly’s story lands.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Fletcher Men are FINALLY back!!! ????

????Book 1 in the Mountain Men Matchmaker Series by Amy Daws ????

Oh, my goodness....

Finally, after all this time, we're back with the smokin' hot Fletcher Men ???? We first met Max, Wyatt, Calder & Luke in "Last on the List" (Max & Cozy's story). This is Wyatt's story and in true Amy fashion, you'll laugh, you'll cry, your heart will break a little, then you'll laugh some more all the while falling even more in love with these rugged mountain men.

It all starts with a ridiculous Craigslist ad... ????

What more could you possibly want out of life when you're content living in your fully sustainable, eco friendly mountainside oasis that you built for yourself and your brothers? For grumpy, quiet, broody, goat dad Wyatt that answer is simple. A baby. After a few rough years and some deep soul searching, Wyatt decided the single dad life was for him. In order to obtain that dream, he looks to surrogacy, as he's too guarded to let anyone into his small inner circle. Love just isn't for him, or so he thinks.

Wyatt is fiercely protective of those in his very small inner circle. Slightly possessive. A whole lot jealous. If the man has a weakness, it's his niece Everly (ummm... how did she go & grow up on us?!) and his goat, Millie. Until her...

Trista Matthews. Spirited, Feisty, Curvy & Sexy. Untamed & a little bit wild. She's everything Wyatt could want in a woman, if he was actually looking. She's fiercely independent and ready to take on the world, one step at a time. She has very big dreams of opening an Animal Sanctuary and in order to achieve that, she needs money. With no emotional ties to anyone or anything other than her pot bellied pig, Sir Reginald, Trista feels that surrogacy is the best way to fast track her dreams. I definitely get Cozy vibes with this one ????

As Wyatt is about to lose all hope, a chance meeting with Everly puts Trista right in his path. Fate perhaps? A little push from above? They couldn't have grown up any different but pieces of them are exactly the same. The attraction between them is instantaneous but Trista has walls built so high it's going to take something or someone pretty strong to knock them down.

But when you want different things, can you find common ground? When you're so emotionally broken and untrusting, can you find it in yourself to believe that you can have it all, if only you let the right person in? As the chemistry begins to build between them one moment changes everything.

The push. The pull. The finding of oneself in the midst of chaos. You'll fall in love with Wyatt, Trista and their menagerie of pets.

Amy hit it out of the park with these two ????
