Abby's stories are always sweet, tender, and hysterically funny! My only complaint is that I wanted more! I hope we'll get to see more of Doug and maddy's story down the road!

This is a nice little episode with characters from the novel "Just For The Summer". I liked it because it was fun interaction between two decent people and continues the vibe from the novel. I wish it was longer and I hope the author uses it as a jump off point for a longer piece with those characters.

Cute, sweet, funny story! This was so unexpected and completely amazing.

Abby knocks it out of the park. She puts two unlikely characters together and makes it work so well.

Very endearing! Love everything Abby writes.

Abby Jimenez is a professional! This short story contained all of the elements I've come to expect with her writing; witty banter, depth to her characters and the things they experience, beautiful descriptions of scenery, and the feeling that you could be friends with any of the characters. To say that I'm excited for her next novel is an understatement! April can't come fast enough!

I love Abby Jimenez and I was excited to be able to finally read this story that was originally only available in one edition of Just for the Summer. I enjoyed this but found it way too short to really feel like I felt the connection between Doug and Maddy. Doug deserves more!

Absolutely delightful. I just wish that those of us who don’t shop at certain stores always had the ability to get these little extras when they are first released. I live in a small apartment. When I downsized from my house I decluttered two bedrooms full of books. Buying a special edition that has extra pages in it may be fun for those who have the room for them. Being forced to wait until a later date feels kind of crummy.

This was a 5-star read. I dropped one star because of the way I felt when I couldn’t get this story last spring.

Typical storytelling by Abby Jimenez. Sweet and touching and totally pulls you in and has you begin for more. More Maddy and Doug!!! Love this sweet short story. Looking forward to future reads by this amazing author.
