About this item
She bought the cabin on a whim. But will it transform into her perfect getaway?
Burnt out from her high-flying author career and dreaming of escaping her busy Manhattan life, when Laura discovers her husband cheating on her with another writer, she knows it’s time for a change. After her brother calls her about a country Bed and Breakfast for sale, Laura ditches New York and buys it on the spot… only to realize that the run-down cabin will need more than a little elbow grease to restore it to working condition.
As she’s swept up in the quiet joys of small-town life, an ad in the local paper draws her to the rugged handyman Paul – and though his wicked humor sours first impressions, she soon warms to his rustic charms. But her past isn’t done with her yet.
Faced with the daunting reality of fixing up her cabin – and with her Manhattan agents pressuring her to return to the big city – Laura must find the strength to commit to her new future… and maybe find true love along the way.
Was this cabin the worst impulse buy in her life? Or will she find happiness amid the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains?
Dive into a cozy small-town adventure that will charm your heart with a feel-good story of new beginnings, wholesome romance, and healing from the past. The Smoky Mountain series is a delightful read that’s perfect for anyone who wants to grab their favorite coffee and be whisked away on an enchanting saga.

I received this ARC for free & I am giving my honest review for free & written in my own words. I am anxious to know to know the answer to all of these questions, so stay tune for the real answers!!
On another front, good news. Laura’s agent calls, excited about Laura’s new book. A publisher is already interested. Laura is also happily involving herself in the local community, helping with the upcoming holiday party.
Where will the story go next? I received an ARC and leaving a voluntary review.
I am ARC reader, and I am leaving my review voluntarily.
Nate and Greg had a serious talking to and Nate straightened Greg out and his self pity thinking. Nate was brutally honest with him and talked to Greg at his level, being not much older than Greg. The brutal honesty came through finally hitting Greg as needed.
Stacey and Byron have spoken privately and honestly to each other realizing they are broken ships and each making the other aware that they each know how they're broken. They'd settled into a lovely, planned romantic dinner by the other island mates when bad news strikes.
I have received an early, free copy; ARC, and am giving my free voluntary and honest review.
