Two sisters, estranged from their adopted brother, received an invitation to visit for the holidays in Book 1. They make their way to his home and shortly after, he disappears. Dawson’s wife is also missing. In this book, two of his friends, that the girls have past romantic histories with, are constantly around. The sisters, Dawn and Debbie, are worried about their brother but no one else is town, including the friends Pierce and Orlando, don’t seem to be concerned. What mystery is everyone covering up? Deb, Dawn, and their 2 grown kids, Erickson and Fran, are getting frustrated and scared about Dawson. But…..Pierce and Orlando do know something. Dawson is secretly filming the sisters but Orlando and Pierce are starting to fear that this little game is going to blow up in their faces. Finally, a letter shows up for Deb and Dawn. It is the first clue to a scavenger hunt! As this book closes, the sisters open the bag at the end of the scavenger hunt….what is it? I received an ARC and am leaving this review voluntarily.

So the twins seem to have figured out something weird is going on. Why haven't they figured out this is a game?

Dawson disappeared the sisters are looking for him. We learned is tapping them st the house then the sisters find s clue and the follow the trail. The author hooks you by the way the books end now to read book 3 to see what is happening

This was difficult to get into for me, but once I did, I enjoyed it. Where is Dawson, and why did he leave? It was interesting learning about the characters, and toward the end, following the clues. Ready for book 3

Dawn and Deb are still looking for what happened to Dawson their brother, and no one seems to be concerned that he is missing. They are very confused why no one even his two best friends are telling them not to worry he will come back when he is ready. Them came to visit Dawson asked them to come and spend time with him, so they just do not get it. Both the women find themselves attracted to their former boyfriends who are Dawson friends, both deny having any feelings for them. Good story so far keeps you guessing what is going on with Dawson, feeling bad for his sisters.

Just when it seemed like Dawn and Debbie were going to be able to reconnect with their brother, he disappears under mysterious circumstances. It seems like no one in town is concerned except the twins. Is everyone in on something but them? Something is definitely going on and I can't wait to find out what it is. At the end of book 2, they were lead on a treasure hunt. It remains to be seen what they found at the end...

This book has twists, turns and many unexpected events. The sisters are worried about their brother. He has gone missing. But is it real or planned? The characters keep changing and appear unexpectedly. You need to pay attention to what is happening to fully get the story.

The Christmas Cottage - Book 2 - I received my ARC copy and I’m voluntarily leaving my review. Wow Dawson plan is driving his sisters crazy! His niece has arrived and his sisters are frantically searching for him. His friends have talked to him and signed NDA’s and are trying hard to keep is secret. While the sisters have searched the hose and his computer they have found no clues to his disappearance. Will they be upset when they find out his charade? The guys are trying to rekindle their relationships with the sisters will the succeed?
