About this item

Today is supposed to be the happiest day of my life.

I'm
engaged to the man of my dreams, and in a few short hours, I'm going to stand before a judge, who will declare us husband and wife, till death does us part. Despite some bumps in the road, this day is everything I dreamed it would be.

There's only one problem:

Someone out there doesn't want me to live long enough to say my vows.

And if I'm not careful,
they may very well get their wish.

Note:
The Housemaid’s Wedding is a winter-themed short story meant to fill in the long gap between Book 2 of the Housemaid series (The Housemaid’s Secret) and Book 3 (The Housemaid is Watching). It can be read either between Book 2 and Book 3, or after Book 3.

Much needed for the time in between. I love this series and the adventures of the House maid. The twist and turns are unmatched! Just when you think you know. You know NOTHING

The Housemaid’s Wedding is a short story and just 63 pages. It is meant as a quick filler between books two and three of the Housemaid series. It’s not to be taken seriously; and is a fun and very quick read for the fans who wanted to read about Millie and Enzo’s wedding.

I didn’t have to read about their wedding, but when McFadden mentioned it and I was able to buy a paperback copy for the inexpensive price of $2.79 I jumped at the chance! McFadden wrote this for the fans and is not making any money off this short story being written. I enjoyed it and I listened to the entire Housemaid series on audiobook, I heard the narrator Lauryn Allman’s voice as Millie again as I read this one! Allman is perfect as Millie for me with the audiobooks. I can’t wait to see how the movie will be.

Read it or not, that is up to you as the reader. If you have enjoyed The Housemaid series then I say go for it. Just remember, it’s a very short and quick read!

I definitely enjoyed this short and sweet filler book. I did enjoy all 3 housemaid series before reading this one. This is very entertaining in the small amount of pages this book comes with. I love that Freida added that extra details about Millie and Enzo getting married yet still giving you that cringe edgy feeling. I have read 9 well now 10 Freida McFadden books and I have no been disappointed yet.

Who doesn’t love Enzo???!!! What a dreamboat, protector and loving man. And if anyone deserves a man like that it’s our fearless girl Millie. The wedding doesn’t go off without a hitch - but what wedding does? Cute novella and I can’t help but wish the very best for these two for the rest of their lives. They deserve utter happiness and hopefully some prosperity in there too.

I loved this book! It was the perfect book to complete and complement the other Housemaid Series! I think Freida did a great job frighten all together and it really bridged the second and 3rd book together. I can't wait to tell my daughter-in-love about it so she can finish the series too! I gave this book five **** because I loved everything about it! There wasn't anything at all I didn't like. Now, to wait one LONG year for the movie!

So this may contain some spoilers so read the rest with caution.

Overall great read. Short and sweet I shall say. I definitely think this book could have a little more chapters and given us a little more back story to the 718 caller and her parents. I would have like to a chapter on the proposal.

Now onto the story itself. It’s a good story but like I mentioned I would have like more on the 718 caller. I read this in like a hour so you can finish it in one sitting. I love how Enzo continues to defend Millie. I have book 3 and am excited to finish it now that I have this story on their wedding.

Short story to bridge the gap between Housemaid 2 and 3. It is based upon the wedding day of Enzo and his bride. A little danger, a little spice but all ends predictably. It took me only 20 minutes to read. Enjoy!
