Lena Little is one of my favorite authors because she packs so much content in her books. The start of this book grabbed me with a hint of a Cinderella feel but soon I got to see Nina and how she is “valued and loved” ???????? by her family. Nikolai holds a particular role in his family that is anything but respected. They both are treated abysmally by their siblings. As it turns out they are best with each other. You definitely have to read this gem for specifics.

The big bad monster was a pussycat. He was afraid of his feelings for his marriage of convenience wife. He was afraid of what he thought she felt about him. What she thought. She fell in love with him as the days went by. She realized that he was not the monster that she was told about. That she was made to be afraid of. He was the monster that got rid of the monsters that she was afraid of. He promised her that he would protect her with his life from everyone and he gave her courage to stand up for herself. And then one day the flood gates opened and all their pent-up sexual tension broke and they found each other. Found what they both wanted and needed. A person. Their person. A real love.

Nina is being forced Nikolai. What she doesn't know it that this man is far from a monster, at least with her. Once, in Nikolai's home she not only feels safe but cherished as well. With Nina marrying Nikolai, what is her father's end game?

I absolutely loved the story! This one is my favorite in the series so far. They call the main character the master, but he’s actually the most compassionate of them all!

She is the shunned mercilessly picked on daughter and he is the feared boss man that has a nasty scar. His scar is visible and hers are hidden but both deep. But as they both get to know each other they find a love that surpasses in beauty any scars that may be seen or felt! Such a beautiful couple so in love! HEA!

Loved how vulnerable Nikolai was with Nina. They are perfect together and he takes on her family and his own also. She finally stands up to her family and it was perfect! Read and enjoy.
