Put on your armor because this story is intense! I felt my heart racing as I read through some episodes…screaming in my mind, hurry up and find the intended victim. I found myself saying many times, “That was stupid! Why didn’t you just shoot him while you had the chance?” Despite knowing that law enforcement officers are required to follow a strict protocol, many times I simply wanted to cut to the chase and this twisted, spiraling mystery. Spellbinding! Definitely…prepare to read in one sitting!

This was a gripping, fast paced thriller that started tense at the beginning and only got more intense as the plot went on. I liked getting more of a glimpse into Evan and Rowan’s lives. They made a great team and I liked getting more information on both their backstories. I always love the intensity of Kendra Elliot’s books and this one was definitely one of the more intense stories.

I Loved the whole series. This book was really enjoyable and a little bit sad. The story was a bit confusing but I finally figured it out. Thank you so very much for sharing your world with the public.

Wow, what a book! I was so happy to get a new book from Kendra in my Kindle and that it featured Evan and Rowan was even better. (Although Mercy and Truman) are still my favorites. I thought I knew who the bad guy was, and ended up being surprised. I read it straight through.

At first I thought this book was a little too tire some and didn't want to finish it. I buckled down and it kept me wanting to finish it to the end. I love the characters in the book, in can't wait for next book.

This is book 6 of the ‘Columbia River’ series and we are back with Detective Evan Bolton and his search and rescue canine specialist girlfriend Rowan Wolff. This time around Detective Bolton is tasked with investigating the murder of his mentor, a retired police detective who has been looking at old, closed cases in his spare time. Rowan and her canine companion Thor are called in to help the investigation when people start to go missing.
As Evan and Rowan dig deeper into the cold cases, things become more complex and dangerous for them both personally and professionally.
‘The Next Grave’ hit all the right notes for me. I thought this was a great read that had an interesting and compelling plot that kept me guessing till the end. Kendra Elliott is always good and this book didn’t disappoint. 4 stars.

I could not put this book down! I love all of Kendra Elliot’s books but wow she totally outdid herself on this one! Totally riveting read!
