About this item

Years of struggle have left Zecia weakened in their war against the Kan'Tanu Cult.

Negotiating for peace is not an option when the System is in control. It can only be purchased through blood and steel. No one is spared from the winds of war.

Zac and his elite armies have been forced to the frontlines just as opportunity strikes. An ancient war fortress has risen from the dimensional depths.

Built by the Limitless Empire, it holds power and secrets far beyond what's seen on the desolate frontiers. Seizing it could be the key to changing the winds of war. Zac finds himself in the heart of the struggle.

No matter what, he won't let it fall into the Kan'Tanu's hands.

5.0 out of 5 stars 14 and still going strong!

This has truly been an excellent series, but it time goes on the story becomes more and more complicated so many different aspects and open storylines. There was nothing wrong with this, but it starting to become complicated to follow all the different moving components. The story is still very strong and has excellent writing, but each time a new book like this comes out you kinda have to look back just to refresh your memory of the different things going on.

This series is absolutely insane! Fast paced action with deep character development combined with galaxy wide exploration. I can't wait for the next one.

What can I say? Much like Zac and his privileged peers amongst the top factions, this series is a rare gem. A masterstroke in a genre filled with the mediocre and banal. Does it has room for growth, some imperfections in its foundation that need some work, and a mysterious road towards an uncertain future resolution of its disparate components? Sure. But like The MC, it has been quite the ride, and I expect that to continue.

This is one of the top 3 apocalypse series I have ever read, and I have read a lot of them. This series is well written and ties together well. My reason for only giving 4 stars are the massive discourses on the main character tempering himself. They are endless. Some are good, but like sugar, too much actually takes away the flavor. Good series, good plot, just excessive internal debates on useless theories no one cares about. Skip those and enjoy a great series.

Solid continuation of an engaging story. Every book shows detail and thought and a nice quality to a lengthy series, I'm continuing wanting more but can't help but to stay updated

This is my personal favorite Lit RPG but definitely the one of the best out there. The author never fails to advance the main story while being a myriad side plots along for the ride. My only complaint is that he can’t clone himself to be working on more volumes at the same time! I also enjoy the voice acting and hope they stay a part of this series as their work is deeply imbedded in the characters.

Why do I love it? Because I think it is the best cultivation series I have ever read. I love the depth and creativity of how the progression is made. I get so bored with books that are just chapter after chapter of fight scenes. Keep up the awesome writing and series and ignore those who only want chapter after of fight scenes. They are a dime a dozen already!,

5.0 out of 5 stars as always a solid book

This is a set in the series. You need to read the series in order. That said it is a great installment in the series. I didn't put it down. If the author is checking the reviews one thing I would beg is please make the religious titles more understandable for non religious folks. It's getting to the point where I just skip a chapter because of the religion. It nearly lost a star. I don't like hopping pages for no other reason then I could not keep up with buddhist names. I am pretty sure I missed something.
