About the author: Laura Vidal.
Born in Alicante, in 1984. She studied Veterinary Technical Assistance, which led her to work as an assistant in this field for many years. A great lover of animals, after losing her furry life companions, she suffered a tough grieving process that led her to take her life in another direction. She changed her way of seeing life and death and reflected her story of healing through pain in her first book “Wait for Me in the Rainbow”, a bestseller translated into several languages and permanently placed at the top of sales on Amazon in the pet´s category. Her second book “Cuando ya no estás”, published by the Vergara publishing house, reached its fourth edition a few months after its launch; it is a practical guide to face the mourning for the animals with which we live.
As a result of her success, Laura took great advantage of her personal experience to find her life mission: to help others grieve the loss of their animals. Apart from writing, Laura currently accompanies animal mourning, online courses, gives workshops, talks and interviews about the pain of losing the furry members of the house. It also helps many people find their purpose in life through self-improvement.

    Thank you to the author for writing such an amazing book. My heart is broken in pieces. I laid my Kona down a week ago. She will always be a part of me this book reinforces that love and understanding that animals are just important as humans, helpful words and reassurance for what you feel when you lose a petand help people react and say things that maybe they shouldn’t. It’s those of us that have felt this great that need to educate so thank you for writing this book. Thank you to my friend that shared it with me.

  • I am very impressed with this product. I have a spaniel that the groomer razor burned around her mouth. It turned into a gapeing wound because she would not leave it alone. We have spent over $2,000 dollars trying to clear it up in almost 2 years. She has been on apoquel, antibiotics, and all sorts of meds. We have even had to do diluted Clorox around her mouth. Vet said only other option was surgery and that was t a guarantee. This stuff works!!!! Her mouth is finally starting to heal. It stopped oozing as much within 24 hours. It may not work the same for everyone but it is a God send for me.

    I lost my Millie about 3 weeks ago. It hit me very hard. I have struggled every day since I lost her. Just so much pain it’s indescribable. I have been to the doctor for depression as I realized it’s not getting better. Trying to find any help I could, something led me to this book. I’m still not over it but I did find some comfort in this book. If you are struggling, please get it and read it.

    I loved this book about going through the loss of a furbaby. It is heartfelt and honest while combining the truth about grieving from science to help guide one’s path toward healing. You can take the lessons and apply them in human relationships as well. Don’t miss this book!

    There was some confusion in small parts regarding translation from Spanish to English but it didn’t bother me. The book is an uplifting and spiritual look at animal loss and grief. Thanks to the author for sharing her stories with us.
