    This story follows a female serial killer and an FBI agent in a gripping chase/romance. I don’t typically read serial killer books, but this one kept me hooked. I also love that it’s a series of five short books making it a quick and easy read—I can’t wait to dive into the next one! ????

    This was great and so much more than what I expected. I instantly need to read the next book!

    So good and insane and good and gripping. I can already feel this is going to be an intense wild ride and I am ???? here for it. Oh,and loving the Einstein quotes at the beginning of each chapter. Who knew?!?

    Lana and Logan both feel so real and likable even though they are surrounded by gore and death. I am totally invested and can’t wait to continue the series. Oh the depravity is going to be delicious and intense. Bring it on!! ????

    Shout out to my friend Amanda for the recommendation! This had me hooked from the very beginning. Seriously read it in one sitting from like 9 PM to 1 AM. These are short because they’re technically all parts of one hard copy book, so I’m excited to dive back into the story, especially after that cliffhanger!

    Would recommend to people that love true crime, dark romances or cop and serial killer books… wow that made my interests sound dark ????

    If you’re looking for a quick and easy read, this one is for you. It took me only a few hours to finish the whole thing and I read it in one night. I really like that there are two perspectives. There’s romance, sex scenes and it’s a great dark and twisted thriller. The only reason I did not give this five stars is I just wish it was a little more descriptive. I like when a book has so many descriptions about the people and the surroundings that I can see it in my head. Otherwise great book.

    It is one of those books where halfway you forget the part of the back of your mind saying “it’s going to disappoint” and you let the story unfold and you realized how badly you love the characters and story and wished there was a movie about this! Storyline - love the fact that slowly and gradually you are giving clues and little snips and pieces of the puzzle of what happened to Lana. Characters - Love the amazing drawn up chemistry of both Lana and Agent Logan Bennett and their banter and back and forth conversations that were incredibly real and engaging and shown their emotions and their thoughts and their sentiments, and all form fully real people that totally surprised me with their reactions and decisions. Sometimes you read a book and you feel that nagging inside as to “when would it end”, and this book totally made me feel the opposite, made me feel this “I want more of Logan and Lana”. Totally like this writer and the way it weaves both story and character to create one of those cannot-put-down book! Can’t wait to read the second book of the series!

    The first book was a little slow but I’m so glad I stuck with it. I wish I could go back and read it again for the first time. It was so good, I couldn’t put it down!! Definitely make sure you have nothing else to do but read when starting this series. It has a little smut, mystery, darkness, and fun. Just read it, trust me!
