This book was extremely well written, and I applaud Shari for her bravery and for telling her story with her words on her own terms.
I was honestly nervous to read because i was unsure of Shari's mental state. After reading, she sounds like she has processed a lot of her trauma and is very self-aware. I appreciate how she is still religious and still has her faith, but acknowledges the power dynamics and human manipulation that can occur.
