    Sante & Amelie were definitely ????

    I loved their story. Yes obviously his whole stalker thing was a bit much but hey I kind of liked it thank you very much!

    Poor Amelie had a terrible time before her sister found her again. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. But she was till reeling from the trauma & paranoia of the bad man from her past.

    But Sante wasn’t deterred from her & actively pursued her. I think he was the only one who break through her defenses & help her gain the confidence to stand up for herself.

    Them together was so sweet because of both of their traumas. Sante’s past wasn’t great either but him having left 4 years prior to reinvent himself was what he needed.

    I really enjoyed this boo & am definitely curious about Tommy ????

    Loved the pacing of the story, kept me invested throughout. No boring monologue chapters that would lose me.

    Added to TBR after seeing an instagram post and was excited to recognize characters. Didn’t realize the story interconnected with the Byrne Brothers series.

    Amelie finally has her story told and can overcome her past through the very unconventional Sante’s insertion into her life.

    Although Sante isn’t a white knight he takes ownership of his actions/choices, values Amelie’s feelings and past and sets up a very unconventional love story that is enjoyable to read.

    As always Jil never disappoints. This is a quick read and fast to the point story line. I really enjoyed the character development and story line. I loved that this continues the store of Sante, Naomi’s younger brother from Silent Vows. Sante and Millie are so cute together and although he is such a brute he shows her so much tenderness and understanding. 10/10

    I love all the ideas of the novel. MMC stalker, obsession with main MFC, protective hero, danger, and instalove. However it is just such a slow drawn out book. Not a lot of spicy and took forever to motivate myself to finish it. It does have a feel good ending and a set up for the next book’s characters. Both protagonists points of view.

    When the MMC walks around waving those red flags and all you want is more, you have need to read this book. Sante holds nothing back when it comes to Amelie, and I mean nothing. The moment he sees her he knows that he needs her. Amelie is hiding something, and he just wants to uncover it and protect her from everything that might harm her. What he doesn’t know is her secrets run very deep, and it takes time for her to trust anyone beyond her sister and brother-in-law. When she does though, it is the most amazing coming together. Amelie has such strength in her and in so many ways. It is that strength that is showcased so many times in this book as her past is unraveled by Sante. It is also watching this man fall further and further in love with her and resolves that he made the right decision to not only protect her but to claim her as his. See red flags people but man he is fantastic.

    Jill did a fantastic job with this book, and I am already sitting on pins and needles waiting for the next one because I just need so much more.

    Jill has done it again! I absolutely fell in love with Sante & Amelie.

    I love the way Jill writes a Mafia romance. It’s got the danger, suspense, romance &, psychotic-ness of a mafia man but also part swooney! ????

    Sante & Amelie meet by happenstance years prior at her sister’s wedding. Sante is stalking Amelie, moving in to the apartment next door and trying to whisk her off her feet and she doesn’t recognize him. She has a tragic past of family trauma and deceit no one knows but her. And Sante is a changed man after coming back from a few tough years in Italy with his uncle, but he knows just what he wants. And he is going to get it.

    This story takes you through allll of the emotions and it is so worth the ride. Thank you to Jill & Valentine PR for letting me read this story In advanced!

    First words after I saw the end was WOW INCREDIBLE. Jill Ramsower knows how to pull you in right from the very beginning and keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout.
    We meet Amelie Brooks a woman who has endured so much in her life and what she has been trying to do to get back her life, becoming a principal ballerina, more involved with her sister and her family but she can’t seem to shake a feeling that she is being watched.
    Sante Mancini is a man on a mission, he can’t seem to get close enough to Amelie and he will do everything in his power to make that happen even if it makes him come across as a stalker.
    Amelie & Sante have a incredible chemistry but the trust and fear is there and they have to find a way to overcome it but there will be some obstacles along the way that can not only get in their way but also can blow it all up.
    Watching this couple go through all of it you can’t help cheer them on with every turn of the page and wishing they finally find that HEA that they want for each other.

    Dante and Amelie’s story was an engaging and compelling read that held my attention from start to finish. The chemistry between the two characters was palpable, filled with tension and tenderness that brought their relationship to life. I especially adored the charming moments when Dante affectionately referred to Amelie as "my pet," adding a playful intimacy to their interactions. Overall, the book was a remarkable journey, beautifully crafted and thoroughly enjoyable.
