The first time I met Dawson Reed, we wound up in bed.

I suppose things could be worse than sharing a cabin for a weekend with a handsome man you despise.

    I am binge reading Vi Keeland books and have not been disappointed. Each has been worth 5 stars. Her writing is different. Her stories are made up of puzzle pieces and flashbacks. None of her characters fit the norm. Each has been unique and complex. Her writing style is so good.
    Dawson is cocky, handsome, funny, smart and also a bit insecure and damaged. Naomi has been through a bit but is strong. Their initial meeting is funny. Add in a practically toothless ankle-bitter dog and a 20-yr old tortoise and we're talking a unique story.
    Dawson has a huge heart. I would love to read another chapter a few years into the future when he's a father. He and Naomi are wonderful, rich characters. I loved their story. Bravo!

    The romance between Naomi and Dawson is intense and filled with tension, driven by the chemistry between them. However, their relationship is fraught with obstacles, both internal and external, as they struggle with their pasts and the complex dynamics of their connection. The narrative is engaging and often steamy. It has some very emotional moments but overall a good read.

    Dawson thought he rented this Airbnb, but apparently he's not the only one. The other person who rented it just gave him a black eye and he gave her...well something much prettier. But realizing they have friends in common means they can exist in a sort of truce place, even though apparently their friends think they won't like each other. And they might just be right except not. Not when he becomes her boss and they find their feelings are actually not hate at all.

    Naomi has had it rough. She was disbarred. Her sister is very ill, and Naomi needs to be near her for support and to take care of her children. So being hired by Dawson to be his paralegal should be the very last thing she needs in her life, she doesn't need the distraction of a hot boss. But she does come to find that she needs him, needs his compassion and his support, and his heart. Falling in love with her boss isn't a good idea, but she can't really resist Dawson when he shows her the real him.

    When I start to read anything by this author, I know I'm going to get lovable characters, witty dialogue, sizzling chemistry, and heart. Indiscretion has all those plus an even bigger dose of heart than usual. Dawson's backstory tugged on my heart so much, and I am not even ashamed to admit I shed more than a few tears, especially near the end. Naomi is this perfect sassy ray of sunshine who kept Dawson on his toes, and brought him to his knees before he even knew what hit him. Their story is beautiful, heartbreakingly emotional, and delicious. I always love the author's couples, but I think these two might be my favorite yet.

    Vi Keeland has this way of drawing you into a book and the characters almost instantly. She did this with such a great meet-cute at the beginning of the story. By the second chapter, I was totally hooked on both main characters, Dawson and Naomi.

    Dawson was a great Hero. He had confidence and an edge of ego, but just the right balance of sincerity and caring. Once he was in, he was all in on all aspects. Naomi was strong and fierce, but also sweet and kind. She owned up to things that happened in her life, and worked hard to improve things.

    So much happens in this story, it’s a wonderful journey. This novel was a great emotional read, but it never took things further than my tender heart could handle. Vi Keeland always handles tough topics with such respect and grace. I know she will play with my emotions, but she will do it in the best way possible. I absolutely loved this story!

    The audio for Indiscretion was fantastic. Sebastian York's portrayal of Dawson was a perfect balance of swagger and tenderness. In Naomi, Andi Arndt brought out the strength and fun. They both did wonderful work bringing this story to life.

    Indiscretion by Vi Keeland is a sizzling and emotionally charged office romance that captivated me with its irresistible blend of passion, emotion, and twisting, character-driven plot. Dawson, the cocky, confident yet charming attorney, and Naomi, the determined and enigmatic former attorney, share an explosive chemistry that ignites every page. Their opposites-attract dynamic and their forced proximity situation work in tandem to create a deliciously steamy build-up, beautifully balanced with heat and sweet, heartfelt moments.

    I listened to the audiobook, narrated in duet by the incomparable pairing of Andi Arndt and Sebastian York, two of my top favorites. Their individual performances are always on point, but when they are paired together, they never fail to deliver magic. Vi Keeland's masterful storytelling kept me enthralled as she wove a tale rich with unexpected turns, emotional depth and punches of humor into a story that was as addictive as it was unforgettable. Five smooches from me for Indiscretion by Vi Keeland!
