    Helena Hunting did it again & I am now obsessed with this college hockey series that overlaps her Toronto Terrors universe. This is the perfect balance of spice, heart & banter. The MCs are written as freshmen in college - there's this innocence to them but also a level of growth for both our MCs that made this story much more than all the delicious spice we get.

    This is a classic popular boy falls for the nerdy girl. Cami is an introvert who has never really fit in - she beats to her own drum in the best ways (hello secret Lord of the Ring spicy fanfic author). She feels invisible, especially in the eyes of her crush, Chase Lovett. Chase is the popular hockey star who everyone wants to be friends with. But when his eyes land on Cami & then they are forced together for a night, he finally gets to know the mystery girl who's been on his mind.

    Cami is unapologetically herself. She owns her insecurities & faces them - she is a total bad@ss. I wish I was more like Cami at that age. Chase is attracted to everything about Cami - he loves her personality & what everyone else considers "weird", he embraces & adores. He shows her that she's perfect as she is & their relationship gives her the courage to step out of her comfort zone.

    Chase is such an wonderful MMC. He is such a good guy at heart and tries to be that for Cami - even if he fumbles a bit. I love how he leans on his BFF Brody to know how to be a good boyfriend. Their friendship is one of the highlights for me.

    Chase & Cami face some classic 18-year-old hurdles (hello mean girls) which gives way to some great character growth moments. But the spice & romance here is a 10 out of 10. These two could not get enough of each other.

    Chase Lovett Wants Me is an absolutely delightful read that has me cackling and swooning through the pages.
    It’s been a while since I related so much to a character as I did with Cammie. She’s fun and quirky and unapologetically herself. Chase loves her weirdness, and that is an absolute green flag for me. I loved these two together, the vibes and the comedic banter were perfection. I haven’t read a book from this author that I don’t enjoy, and Chase Lovett is no different.
    This is a must read for fans of hockey, romantic comedies, and nerdy/jock romance. Highly recommend.

    Chase Lovett Wants Me by Helena Hunting is a sizzling and heart-melting college hockey romance that kept me hooked from start to finish. Chase, the magnetic college hockey superstar, and Cammie, the adorably nerdy and talented writer, share an undeniable chemistry that leaps off the pages. They are accidentally placed as roommates after a situation in the dorms, and their forced proximity sparks a deliciously steamy and sweet slow-burn romance filled with humor, passion, and tender moments.

    I listed to the audiobook, which was narrated in duet by CJ Bloom and Jason Clarke. Bloom and Clarke had natural chemistry, and they used it to deliver a wonderfully entertaining performance. Helena's expert storytelling sparkles as she wove a tale of secret crushes, electric chemistry and deep connections. Her hockey romances are must reads for me, and this was an addictive college love story with a plenty of heartfelt emotion and charm! Five smooches from me for Chase Lovett Wants Me by Helena Hunting!

    Not my favorite in the series. Hot hockey stud falls for weird introverted virgin who writes MFM fanfic. She refers to their private parts as his sword and her precious. Too many Lord of the Rings references for my taste.

    To say Chase Lovett Wants Me is a cuteness overload would be putting it mildly! Sigh–and not only does the stunning illustrated book cover capture all the feels but Hunting’s new adult leading characters’ embracement of their student growth journey gave me all the real-life vibes. This standalone is the first in a brand-new hockey series, and whether it’s read, listened to or both, it will undoubtedly bring a smile to your face!

    Cammie Lovelock; Hunting’s nerdishly bashful fanfic writer has been secretly admiring Chase Lovett from afar, Tilton Uni’s number one hockey star. If there were ever a laugh-out-loud one-on-one first encounter, this has to be it! And with no further ado, Hunting immersed me in her story filled with heart, wit, a sprinkling of angst and the oohs and ahhs of a romance page-turner.

    The dynamic of these two is nothing less than spectacular. Their contrasting traits enhance one another on and off the hockey field; his eagerness and encouragement to read her next line; her embracing the sport he loves. Hearing Hunting’s words come alive with Jason Clark and CJ Bloom's dual narrative was a mind-blowing experience, and I couldn’t stop highlighting some cracking one-liners.

    The added plus was meeting up with some well-loved characters from The Toronto Terror Series. I’m all in for the next sequel in the Tilton University Series and waiting impatiently to find out whose turn it will be. Bravo!

    Read this book in a day. Really enjoyed the characters and the spice was so good. I really loved how the FMC was a LOTR fan. The story was good and adorable. I really hope the side characters get their own book.

    This book is everything! I read a lot of books, and the way Helena creates her character's worlds is by far my favorite. Her writing flows so well it sucks you in & makes you feel like you are there & not many authors I've read can truly do that the way she does. Plus, the way this book ties into the Terror series is perfection. The way many of her other series do creating an ultimate universe I want to just live in and be a part of.
    The story of Chase and Cammie just made my heart smile and many times had me snort laughing. I love these two & can't wait to read more about them as the series grows.
