    I've always loved reading books about firefighters, police officers and military personnel and this one is really good. But today, firefighters are holding a special piece of my heart and attention. You see, today is the third day of the awful (wild) fires in California where whole towns have been destroyed. I feel bad for the residents, but the firefighters - they are trying so hard and the looks on their faces say its not enough. So reading these books about the firefighter personal lives also portray them as heroes day in and day out which they are. When everybody else is running out, they are running in. So, I am bingeing on Pine Valley: Firefighters just to honor firefighters in my own small way. Thanks to all firefighters for what you do and thank you Zoey Rose for writing this series.

    Curvy Girl and the Grumpy Firefighter by Zoey Rose is a sweet with heat instalove romance. It’s a short story, with an HEA. Sadie works as a dispatcher for the fire station where Kane is a firefighter. She is attracted to him but he is grumpy, and older. And he definitely keeps his distance. But this year, during the holidays, Sadie decides to take a risk and ask him out. Very sweet story about 2 people who really needed each other.

    This stand characters were so much for read about! May /December age gap he a ex military and she dispatcher at the fire station yet spill so strong that it creates flames between them both! Will the give in or will th the flames burn out?

    Kane and Sadie’s love ❤️ take awhile to come to them both, but it’s worth it in the end. Great characters and story line.

    Sadie and Kane have loved and wanted each other for a while.
    But he things he's too damaged to be with someone after being in the war.
    Sadie helps Kane heal and feel whole again.
    A wonderful story i couldn't put it down.

    Sadie finally gets her story! She gets the courage to ask her long time crush, Kane, to the firefighters ball. Kane has a lot of demons from his time in the military and doesn't believe he deserves good things, especially not someone as young and sweet as Sadie. She convices him that he deserves it all.
