    Bad little bride was something I never saw coming!! After getting the book everyone was dying for, and a glimpse into Bastians' life.. n I never thought we'd see anything to match it. Enter the brilliant author, an intro to a growling hot MMC Enzo, and the fierce FMC Boston. Who just so happens to be the TWIN to Rocklin, Bastians other half!
    This world beyond exceeded my expectations, and the twists turns and familiar tatted hotties that make an appearance. BLEW.ME. AWAY.
    ALL the stars in the sky for this one, with a heaping spoon of caramel on top. Enzo and Boston are fire, and their story not one to be missed. This series is becoming a close tie with The Brayshaws, and equally as brilliant!!!

    Bad Little Bride is a great story with characters you will love or hate. But by the end of the story, love will be what you are leaning towards.
    Enzo and Boston have some animosity towards each other, and I loved the back and forth with them. The banter made this story a little lighter. These two are great together and can be a powerhouse together. But it isn't easy for Enzo to get Boston to love him.

    Kathryn Lynhurst isn't a narrator that I usually listen to, and I need to change that. She has a very pleasant voice that can hit those moments when it needs to be higher or more serious. She did a great job with Boston.
    Alex Kydd is a favorite of mine. I always enjoy that he makes the sounds or laughs when he reads the parts. He doesn't just read the words. He is actually there in the story. I love it!

    The cameos you get in this story made me so happy, and I love it.
    I am excited about what comes next!

    Meagan has once again blew me away. This book was hands down one of my favorites written by her so far!! 5 stars doesn’t even begin to describe how truly amazing this story was. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The tension and buildup in here was top tier. Enzo Fikile was so deliciously unhinged but he also had this sweet side that was just so swoon worthy. I immediately fell in love with Boston. She was so bada$$ and quick witted. She definitely kept everyone on their toes. This book is definitely a MUST READ!! It immediately drawls you in from start to finish. Meagan definitely checked all the boxes with this one. 10 out of 10 recommend!!

    Was this book enjoyable? Yes. The story line was great, though at times the book dragged. There’s a lot of navel gazing that doesn’t really move the book along, so I skipped a lot.

    My second quibble with the book is that it is billed as a standalone and I take issue with that. I’ve never read anything by Brandy and starting this book was like being dropped into the middle of a story that I had no context for. For this to truly be a standalone, there needs to be some sort of prologue or explanation about what happened “before.” As it was, I was very confused for probably the first 1/4 of the book.

    But that brings me to my next point: the book is already too long for the story, so adding context would have made it even longer. Idk. I finished it but I have zero desire to read the author’s other works, especially when they’re not listed as part of a series so I at least have an inkling of what I should read first. Also…editing needs a lot of work. A lot.

    Enzo is the end all be all of book husbands! I absolutely love him! The neck tattoo! yaasss!!

    I loved Boston’s growth. Watching her become the strong and confident; and a little unhinged, woman she is. Beautiful! Enzo helped nurture that but in the end, it was all her.

    I loved the banter. The side characters are amazing. I loved them as much as our main characters. Meagan Brandy nails another amazing book!

    I loved seeing some of my favorite characters from previous books! The cross over was perfection!

    Go dive into Enzo and Bostons story! You won’t be disappointed!

    I absolutely loved the idea of this book and ate up the last third of it! Enzo and Boston’s story ended just as I would hope, I really enjoyed Enzo’s character and Boston became the girl I hoped she would. The first half of the book, Boston had moments where I loved her, but so many when she drove me crazy! Like I said, it was almost five stars for me, but her character development (attitude wise) progressed a little too slowly in my opinion! All together, I really enjoyed the book and look forward to reading the others in the series!

    A rather gripping YA (ish)/Adult Contemporary, dark romance novel. Underworld, dark side of life, elite training, wickedly capable young women, and dangerous men. It is a slightly complicated web of power dynamics.

    Enzo is ... he's just... it. Boston is finding her place in this world. And she is smart enough to realize that Enzo is her only way, out or thru the world she comes from. She finds him, makes him a direct offer, and he's 'in'.

    So much intrigue. So little trust, because lives depends on not making a bad decision. I found the writing compelling. But it was also a different tone/voice than I am familiar with reading-wise, so there were a lot of 'let's stop and reread that, maybe 4+ times, until we're clear as to what's going on'. It's quick. Punchy, in its delivery. Meagan Brandy is new to me. Except for needing to grasp the meaning behind subtle gestures and words, at times, I had no problem with the story itself.

    Slowish burn, we do get into open door territory. (So, not for children.)

    I wouldn't mind seeing this story, and yet I'm afraid it might lose some of its emotional oomph (and possibly go overboard with the darker elements) with live actors and voices.

    Yeah, I loved Bad Little Bride!
