I was not expecting the two twists that occurred in this book. One smacked me in the face and the other one I had an inkling of once all the pieces started dropping.

When I got to the part where she figured out who Easton was I was so floored and happy! It’s so neat how she brought them full circle and brought them back together.

I loved how they addressed the fact that he was her boss, they took things slowly and cautiously.

He also respected her so much! He didn’t outright tell his friends about them dating until they discussed it and she gave permission.

This guy is an absolute gem too! He reads her body, her moods. He surprises her at every turn. SWOON!

She is every bit as in tune with him also! They re-connected and never let go.

I loved how this story started out different from Marni’s typical books. Going back in time and single pov. It was fun to read and you felt for Easton.

Easton Jones is all alpha but has a soft spot. Playboy who him and his two best friends create a dating app to help make it easier to just hook up. Until Love.

Drake Madden is independent, fun and super smart. After the loss of her mother and only her and her best friend she’s finally figuring out what she wants from her personal life, herself and where she wants to settle down.

Easton and Drake were cute but also steamy! The problem solving in the book was great with no third act break up. Overall, it was another spicy read from Marni and I’m excited for Grayson’s story next!

I love a good "it was always you/second chance romance" and Marni delivered BIG TIME. The spice was SPICY, the connection between Easton and Drake was so strong right from the beginning, and the lack of a 3rd act breakup guarantee that this is going on my "to read again and again and again" list. I love these two and how Marni's characters make appearances in others' stories - I hope to see more of them also!! Highly recommend reading Easton & Drake's love story.

Had potential but went no where

I had heard a lot of good things about this author and was looking forward to reading tl one of her books, especially when I saw the audio was included with the KU membership. However, unfortunately, I have to say it didn't live up to the hype. Plus, the audio narration didn't help at all as the male narrator's voice didn't do it for me. His attempt at a female voice was horrendous, and he should be banned from doing them lol

Coming to the story, it's a spicy insta love, second chance, workplace romance. It had a good beginning with the premise of the MMC being one of the three best friends who are also founding members of a new anonymous dating app meant solely for hookups but he finds a 100% match against all odds! There insta connection, and they text and call regularly. They meet and have a one night stand. But the situation at the time forces them to separate until the FMC gets hired by their company 5 years later.

There was no real plot or issue or growth after that point sadly. It was too easy and no story to get hooked into. And even the one twist was pointless. I still finished the whole story. Not sure if I'm invested enough to read the second in the series.

I love reading when the Playboy falls fast and hard for a good woman. I loved reading about Mr. Boston and Love about how they had a past, present, and future. It was amazing to watch Easton make such a big transition as a person to go from Playboy to a one woman man in a short time. But from life I know the right woman can make a man want only her!!! Easton and Drake make an amazing couple.

As with anything Marni writes… this was such a fun and quick read, and I’m officially hooked. I can’t wait for book to Mr. wicked I love a good grumpy MMC and Grayson will be so good!!

I absolutely love the Dalton family series. It was really cool to see how they played into this book. There is a small blurb in this book that I remember from one of those stories as well so it was kind of nice to see the other side of the case. Character development was great. Storyline was fun I’m excited to read more!!

I enjoyed this book. It didn't take me long to blow through it. The characters were likable and the story was interesting. There was spice but it didn't take over the whole story, which I like. I will continue this series.
