About this item

From USA Today and Amazon Charts bestselling author Meghan Quinn comes a fun, sexy story about the family dynamics that can stand in the way of rekindling a romance.

Prepared for a good time, Tessa is thrilled to spend the weeks before her sister’s wedding at their family’s favorite vacation spot: Santorini. Sandy beaches, stonewashed houses, attractive men—it’s heaven.

But Tessa’s idea of a girls’ trip comes to a screaming halt when her sister thinks it’s high time Tessa finds some love herself. Unfortunately, Tessa forgot about the deal she made back in high school: she has to find her soulmate before her sister’s wedding. Or else.

As she dodges suitors and her sister’s pranks, Tessa finds an ally in the oh-so-dreamy Myles, her childhood crush who just so happens to work at the resort. But Myles is dealing with some family conflict of his own. He’s elated at being reunited with Tessa, but his father’s refusal to acknowledge his interest in the family business and relegating him to only grunt work casts a dark cloud.

As Tessa and Myles help navigate their way through their families’ antics, they begin to realize that their past feelings may have a future—if only they can turn their island fantasies into something real.

This was my first book by Meghan and it was good. It was funny, sweet, and had a good plot. I liked the ups and downs it took me on as well as the journey with the couple. For a hot minute I didn't think the couple would make it, but in the end it was happily ever after.

Meghan Quinn’s books are my go to comfort book to make me feel the feels; this one did not disappoint. The reason I couldn’t go 4 is because in comparison to her other books I was missing more of the humorous banter! Overall sweet love story with some intense (at times annoying) family/friend dynamics.

5.0 out of 5 stars Do the audio book

I love Megan Quin as an author. This is probably my 9th book that I have read from her. Overall, the book is good. The ebook version I used, came with audio, so it was basically a read along (which I lived by the way). Yet, I utilize the audio more during my daily commute to and from work. As always, Megan's banter better the love interests were on point and had me laughing out loud. I had two issues with the book, one was Roxanne, who would have made me quit if I was only reading this story instead of listening (hail to the voice actors, for your acting chops and Megan for your wit). The second was the climax/conflict, which came too late. Thus making it feel rushed, unnecessary or as an after thought and the solution to fix it was physical intimacy. Don't get me wrong, I like a well timed sex scene and in the book there are 3-4 with the main couple. Yet, this last one, that was used as an avoidance to the conflict, pissed me off and I skipped it. Great couple, love Miles and Tessa, happy with the ending. I want a "Miles" for my daughter one day.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cute, quick summer read

This book made me literally LOL and OFTEN. I loved the FMC - her self-deprecating humor, her rambling - she was perfect. As a twin mom, this book reminded me to make sure, as a parent, I am helping each of my twins find their true selves.

As someone who tends to put others first, this book was a good reminder - sometimes we put everyone in front of ourselves, even when they don't need (or want us to).

Super cute summer read, would definitely recommend to friends

It has been AGES since a book made me laugh out loud. And more than once. What a fun and enjoyable ride. Sometimes wanted to smack characters upside their heads, for their own good of course. But still, really good. Caught and kept my attention.

I liked all the characters and how they played jokes on each other. It had me laughing out loud at times. It was funny how all the friends tried to set up Tessa. This was such a fun lighthearted read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cute Story

This wasn’t the best Megan book I’ve read, but I still gave it 4.5 because I still laughed my butt off and really enjoyed the story in the characters. Roxanne really pissed me off the whole story and I get the ending, but I also would not have jumped into The forgiving role so quickly after everything that she had done. I’m glad everything worked out in the end. I’m in my romcom era.
