Interestingly, Facebook suggested her as a friend. So, I clicked the friend request button and didn't think much of it. But then I got a message from her asking why I wanted to connect. I guess it was meant to be for me to reach out to her, since she'll be featured in my next book.
I loved how Eileen Troemel broke down each lunar cycle and the associated energy for it in just fifteen minutes a day. There are three meditations per cycle, covering basic preparation and grounding, with little chants of affirmations thrown in. but fifteen minutes is all you need but you could also take more time if needed or wanted. The hand-drawn illustrations were adorable. At the back of the book, she included samples of two other books she wrote - Try Moments in Life and Wayfarer Aegis - in case you're interested in checking out her other work. If you're a beginner or experienced practitioner, this book is definitely for you!

The way the world is these days, it’s good to find a book with a schedule of short meditations that take us through the lunar cycle. This little book (28 nightly meditations in 79 pages) gives us an introductory paragraph, a verse chant, and a brief meditation for every night of the month, from New Moon (“Beginnings”) to Full Moon (“Balance” and “Moon of Delight”) to Dark Moon (“Possibilities”), at which point we start all over again. Each page also features a nifty symbolic drawing. Newbies especially will enjoy and benefit from this book.

I loved this book so much, I bought the paperback version. I meditate every night, and this is a great series to get me through an entire moon cycle. The chants/poetry was beautiful, and there are even some fun drawings to set the mood. I would highly recommend this book.

Moon Affirmations: Daily Meditations Using the Moon Phase to Focus Your Energy by Eileen Troemel is a book that introduces you to the worship somehow of the moon. That’s how I understood it. Not with the religious sense though.
It is an efficient little book that helps the reader to exploit the energy that according to with the author comes from the moon.
I don’t really believe this, but I did meditate in the past and saw some benefits. I will give it a try and see how it goes. I mean ten to fifteen minutes every day just to kick back and relax is not the that bad moon or no moon.
Where I live, I do not have a perfect view of the moon, but I can always close my eyes and visualize it before reading the affirmations this lovely book has.
The author seems to gathered a condensed knowledge about how, why and when to meditate using the various phases of the moon. I must say ad m it that was intriguing, and it did make me more curious. Curious enough to try them and also research in the future a bit more about the moon and how it affects our mood.
It is a notable handbook, self-help book for beginners who seek a piece of mind. I think this book does the trick and initiates the first comes into a higher mental and spiritual state. I really enjoy reading it.
Highly recommended.
