Ladies and gents, this was my first romance novel from Ana Huang. Usually, I would go for Lucy Score books- a friend recommended The King of Sins series, but regarding my preferance with certain series I always buy 1 book out of who-knows-how-many-books. Needless to say, I AM OBSESSED with the King of Sins series!
King of Wrath is about Vivian and Dante. Their love/hate encounter made me feel many things at once. It was frustrating, sad, infuriating, and overwhelming. This book made me cry.
King of Pride is about Isabella and Kai. This one gave me the chuckles. Isabella is so quirky! Kai is, well, a geek. Scratch that, he's like a rich, handsome geek. Their encounters are HILARIOUS. Not once, did this guy ever have a normal conversation with this girl in the beginning. She give Awkwafina vibes honestly. It did have some sad parts that did make me tear a little (I just don't do well with break ups) but definitely worth reading.
I just finished reading King of Greed. This story is about Alessandra and Dominic. Holy crap! This story made me ugly cry. God. They've been married for a long time. He stopped noticing his wife for his job, and unfortunately, she checked out of the marriage. You know that saying: You don't know what you have until it's gone? Crap, this story makes the reader feel like shit when it gives Doms side of the story. I have no idea how I managed to reach the end, but thank God this has a great ending.
I just need King of Sloth and I'm almost complete!!
Definitely buy this series if you enjoy those hero, rich, handsome, "I'd do anything for you, literally, anything" kind of guys. And enjoy the sass, sarcasm, and spice of the "I don't need a man, but i do in times of womanly needs" type of girls. Lol.

About this item
**A#1 NEW YORK TIMES, WALL STREET JOURNAL & USA TODAY BESTSELLER**
He had her, he lost her...and he'll do anything to win her back.
Powerful, brilliant, and ambitious, Dominic Davenport clawed his way up from nothing to become the King of Wall Street.
He has everything—a beautiful home, a beautiful wife, and more money than he could spend in a lifetime. But no matter how much he accumulates, he's never satisfied.
In his endless quest for more, he drives away the only person who saw him as enough.
It isn't until she's gone that he realizes there may be more to life than riches and glory...but by then, it may be too late.
***
Kind, intelligent, and thoughtful, Alessandra Davenport has played the role of trophy wife for years.
She stood by her husband while he built an empire, but now that they've reached the top, she realizes he's no longer the man she fell for.
When it becomes clear that she'll always come second to his work, she finally takes charge of her life and puts herself first—even if it means leaving the only man she's ever loved.
But what she didn't count on was his refusal to let her go...or for him to fight for their marriage, no matter what it takes.
King of Greed is a steamy marriage in trouble/second chance romance. It's book three in the Kings of Sin series but can be read as a standalone.

I absolutely adored this book!???? There’s something about Ana Huang’s writing that is so addicting and easy to read, and you won’t want to put King of Greed down. I started it at midnight and before I knew it I was already 40% in after an hour and a half of reading. If that doesn’t tell you how good it was I don’t know what to tell you.
I’ve seen a few people saying this story didn’t measure up to the last two book, and I’d respectfully have to disagree. This story was a great second chance love story, and I liked that it put emphasis on Alessandra finding herself and her happiness while spreading her own wings. Her character was amazing, I loved how she became part of the girl group, and she really was way stronger than even I feel I could have been when it came to making her decisions. Plus Dom! Oh my god that man really was down bad for his wife and showed up for her without being down her throat. He sure did try a lot to get her to give him another try, but it warmed my heart that he told her to do what she needed to do and he’d always be there. These two were so amazing, and their development throughout the book was awesome. I have to say I would’ve caved way earlier than Alessandra did though.???? Loved the story, and I really loved the bonus epilogue linked at the end.

<i>"You broke my heart, and you weren't even there to witness it."</i>
<b>If you need a good cry, or if you love Ana's previous books, you should pick this one up next.</b>
<i>"I'm not you r wife anymore."
"No. But you're still my love. That hasn't changed."</i>
With chestnut har, blue-gray eyes, and tanned skin, Brazilian Alessandra Ferreira turned Davenport only wanted one thing: for her husband to love her as much as he did his work.
<i>"You have no idea what you do to m, Ále. I would destroy the world if it would please you. I would ruin every man who thought he could have you."</i>
From pauper to King of Wall Street, the dark blonde-haired, navy blue-eyed Dominic Davenport is New York City's workaholic, who pays more attention to his work than his wife of 10 years.
<i>"I don't need a reason to be with you,</i> amor. <i>But I'll give you ten thousand if it means you'll say yes.</i>
They’ve loved each other for so many years, that it’s almost impossible for either one of them to fully walk away from the other. Though Alessandra tries her hardest, there’s no denying that she’ll always be drawn to Dominic, regardless of how she’s felt over the years. While reading the novel, you see how well Ále and Dom fit together while they’re in Brazil, and also when they return back to New York. Yes, it takes Dom a while to right his wrongs, but when you’ve loved one person for more than a decade, it’s hard to convince not only yourself or the other person, but everyone else around you that you can live without them. I truly believe that their chemistry, despite everything, is one of my favorites.
<i>“Even if she hated me with the fire of a thousand suns, that wouldn’t compare to how much I hated myself in that moment.”</i>
Dominic appeared to be more married to his work than his own wife, whom he’s been with for 11 years, and married for 10. Alessandra draws the final line when Dominic ends up missing their 10 year anniversary. Alessandra leaves, and soon after tells Dom she wants a divorce. Dominic, not understanding where she’s coming from, refuses to sign the papers and walk away. It takes him a while to finally realize that the signs were there, and he unintentionally ignored them, believing Ále was okay with how much he was away at work because she never spoke on it. It takes a lot more than a ‘sorry’ for Dominic to get Ále back, but in the end, he finally comes to the realization that his wife of a decade is worth a whole lot more than work opportunities that will come by again.
<i>“There is no moving on. Not for me.”</i>

My heart ached so much for Ále. I still personally think Alex is the king of groveling. I feel like Dom could’ve groveled a little bit more, but Ále was just like me and took him back, so I can’t be too too mad at her because same. I cried so much (as expected), and it was so good to see Josh and Jules in their cameo, though I wish it had been with Jules in her workplace. Absolutely loved this book, and it did not disappoint.
Though I wish the story was a little longer (it was only 315 pages), I still enjoyed every page, even though this book got more tears out of me than anything else. I was hoping for a little more groveling, but at the same time, I understand where the MCs are coming from.
I do wish there was a little more angst, but like I’ve said before above, when you’ve loved someone for so long, it’s hard to just walk away like they meant nothing to you, and Ana executed that beautifully. When you haven’t experienced heartbreak the way Alessandra did, it’s hard to relate, not even that, but to really understand why it was written the way it was.
Going on over to the cameo, I already had a gut feeling that it was going to be Josh and Jules, however, I wished it was executed a little differently. I was hoping for a more Jules in her workplace as a lawyer (yes I know Jules isn’t a lawyer for marriages), with Josh there, too, if that makes sense. Nonetheless, I still was happy to see them in KoG as their usual, playful selves, taking a vacation in a Brazilian island.
Throughout the whole book, I went through all the stages of grief. From not even the first line of the first chapter, but the dedication alone had the waterworks already coming down. I still believe that Ana’s writing gets better with every book she writes, and it shows in the way she wrote the ‘Twisted’ series and her current ‘Kings of Sin’ series. This series is still in my top favorite series, and I have a feeling that that’s not going to change anytime soon.

<i>“You’ve make it clear, time and time again, that I’m not a priority.”
“Thats not true…You know I would choose you.”
“That’s the thing. I don’t. Because you haven’t chosen me. Not in a very, very long time.”
“I want my greed to be for you love, your laughter, and our life together. I can’t bear to be parted from you. Please Ále, will you be my wife?”
“The difference is, back then, I thought I had nothing to lose. Now, I realize I have everything to lose.”
“I’m asking you one last time.</i> Where is my wife?<i>”</i>
