I don't know about yall but with life and all the books out there, as well as the new ones coming in, its very rare that I take the time & energy to actually read a book or whole series more than 1 time or so. However, this series is this Damm good that it has joined into my quite exclusive bundle. I just read, (yes - read not skimmed but actually read this book-lol), this book for another time to get to the latest 1 that has come out. I have to say that I enjoyed it even more this time as I caught onto things I'd overlooked on devouring it the first time, as we all normally would. Even if you don't normally read RH stories, I still suggest this book and series as it is that well written. If you like strong characters, witty sarcastic humor, action, some drama, and most importantly worlds/ storyboard that you just get immersed in it,than this is the author and series for you to forget your own troubles for awhile and dive right in. She writes scenes in such a way that you get the descriptions of necessary details such as background, people, feel, and other things in such a way that it doesn't overwhelm you or stall the story which I personally greatly enjoy. I'm purposely not giving you details on the story as I don't want to ruin it for you especially it's your first time hehehe. I hope you this is helpful to you and you give it a try. Thank you Jasmine Mas for your wonderful series that has my own problems seem smaller and forgotten for a bit as well.

I know I liked the book when I had the urgency to pick up book 2 immediately

Usually, in shifter/paranormal romances where there are Alphas, betas and Omegas, the female lead is an omega, timid, always in need of rescuing.
It is refreshing to read a series in this genre where the main FL is an Alpha and a male who is an omega.
I liked Sadie. She is strong and pigheaded even though she went through severe physical abuse. She goes head to head with the three Alpha-holes. I wouldn't say that this is an Enemies to lovers, more like dislike to lust to maybe like by the end.
I loved her vulnerability and strength.

As for the guys, there is evidence of tragic history but we did not get it because this book is Sadie-focused. Each one got like one or two chapters but they were more recaps and monologues. You do not get a lot of their background and their personalities except from Sadie's POV.
So hopefully we get more of them in the following books.

The writing was ok. The story is decent and not overcomplicated. If you sit down with no distractions, you could finish it in 3 to 4 hours. Several things are kept open-ended, and many reveals are done in the end.

BUUUUUUUT
I am so sick of the "small and tiny" female with "white hair"
come on!!! like what happened to the other body sizes and hair colors???????
and here is your conundrum
she is so tiny and small but when she wears a short dress she has legs for days????? seriously????

as a tall girl, I rarely see those anymore

anyway, good read
on to the next book

You cannot, absolutely cannot help but love this book! The captivating characters, the fantastical world of beasts, magic, and monsters!! Loved it and am going straight to the next book. It's funny, sexy and has you fighting for the heroine to rise above her traumatic upbringing and win over these beastly men that are her roommates. You really need this book, so go for it and read it!

So I’ll just say that the story line was decent and sometimes funny but there are a lot of redundancies in wording. I’m not sure why the main character needs to have so much indigestion or “mouth watering” but I feel like it was excessive and could have saved me some time in reading by minimizing the amount of times she’s sick. The story reads a bit like a juvenile author but it is creative. I feel like it just needs more editing. Still worth the read.

This book was soooo awesome! It’s my first fantasy book and I finished it in one day. It was spicy and it was magical. I love Sadie’s character. She’s fun and fierce and head strong. The guys are super hot and dominant which is the best part to me. 10/10

The plot was fun, the spice was innovative. I enjoyed the detailed character building. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series.
I do wish this had passed a stronger editor. Getting pulled out of the story every few sentences by structure, slang and colloquialisms was problematic. Overall excellent short read.

Warning--This is a six book series, and you will not be able to do anything productive until you finish it.
The first three books focus on Sadie and her men, and the last three focus on her best friend Aran.
Thankfully, you'll find both Sadie and Aran throughout the entire series, which is wonderful because Sadie is the best, she is so freaking hilarious, her inner ramblings and back forth with Cobra will keep you in stitches. I swear I've never laughed so often as I did with this series.
Sadie and Aran's friendship is life goals. It's the first time I've been just as invested, if not more so, in the bff storyline than that of their fated mates. They made me want to be their third, to be their bff and get drunk on deamon brew, smoke on my pipe, and get stabby. They are my people.
Jasmin did a fantastic job creating the overall plot that wove these six books together flawlessly.
My hope is we get a Jinx storyline that includes ample Sadie and Aran..
