Enjoyed the 2 main characters - flawed but making honorable choices along the way. Some character development for the 2 mains but a little light for the primary secondary characters. The kink was smoothly blended into the story line which I appreciated. Would recommend to anyone who likes stories where characters stay true to their natures and who like the romance to be consensually rough.

First at 465 pages this felt like a fast read for some reason.
Initially I wasn't thinking of it as a mafia since its got done sub/Dom kink chase scenarios trigger warnings
Rape,bondage, knife and blood play physical sadomasochism etc
No cheating and a HEA.
The action was constant the spice 2.7/5 even though the chase scenes were detailed and disturbing.
Both the Mmc and fmc had childhood traumas and both fell for the other about the same time and even though the trauma remains they connect in their darkness and heal each other.
I would've liked a few more intimate sweet moments where I could really see them connect more, ever one sex scene that wasn't rough to show the love allowed room for the beast in them both to give in to gentleness but it's ok the action was intense and a great mafia story.

I literally have no words to describe how I feel right now. I just finished Corrupted Heart by Jagger Cole and it was simply one of the best books I have ever read. I am huge fan of Romance Mafia especially dark Mafia and Jagger did not disappoint with the dark in this one. I honestly think this is the best book he’s ever written, and I’ve read and love them all.

Corrupted Heart introduces us to Bianca, a ballerina and the daughter of the New York Italian Don of the Barone family, and Kratos Drakos from a Greek mafia family. Their lives become irrevocably intertwined when Bianca finds herself in a dangerous situation involving drugs and an unknown masked man (Kratos) comes to her rescue. Later, the mafia families arrange a marriage contract between Bianca and Kratos to prevent an all-out mob war. Their marriage may not be typical, but they find a way to relate to each other.
I seriously love how messed up Kratos is, which makes him the perfect MMC for primal play. When I tell you the primal play scenes are the hottest dirtiest well written I have ever read. I mean it! I love to read primal play, but I’ve always felt they were lacking in some way, but not Jagger’s. Filthy dirty is what they are. I loved Bianca as an FMC, she’s strong, capable, and where’s her crown like a true mafia queen. I will say this in every Jagger review I do and that is he nails it at writing a strong, fierce, loyal and takes no crap FMC.

Jagger has been a go to author for me for a little over a year now and if you haven’t given him a try, I highly recommend you run to Amazon right now and pick this up. Remember, though, that this book comes with trigger warnings, so it's essential to be aware of those before diving in. Happy reading! ????????.

Maybe I shouldn’t be reading these books back to back, but every story seems the same. Always an abusive or dead parent , either the fmc or mmc suffered some kind of SA, always enemies to lovers, and trauma bonding. Each book introduces a new bravta from a different country. Great writer, just ready for a different story line

Unique character dynamics between hero/heroine with good sizzle. The denouement was a tad rushed, but otherwise solid story. Different from most books like this.

This story is hot very steamy,it sizzles has you read.Kratos is a monster but has a soft touch for Brinca. She is a baterina who lives for dance and doesn't have much of a life or friends, she gets caught in the cross hairs of a bad drug bust and is save by the monster Kratos.They keep meeting and things get more dangerous and then Brinca decides to join a online chat thing and set up with Kratos who uses masks and a alias and they get closer and act out some of her fantasy's.They have marry to stop a war before it gets started,Things are getting more dangerous on both sides of Kratos and Brinca family,she is stake by a dangerous drug dealer,he is stake by a women from his past.He trys to keep that secret from her but it back fires and he does tell her about it,but the women threats Brinca and the women will kill Kratos if Brinca doesn't leave with her,it breaks her heart and she lies to her husband and leaves him,but Kratos doesn't take the word no from her or her safe word vanish and goes after,he saves but he almost loses his life,this story does have a happy ending,Kratos fines a bright life with Brinca and she even conquers some of her fears!
