These books are so good! They should be top cop mysteries and be best sellers in that regard as well as romance. Sam’s crew is sharp and her team is top notch. These stories are exciting and action packed. No one is above the law in Sam’s town. This murder and attempted murder hit very close to home as Sam continues to juggle her life as First Lady and her job as the Lieutenant of Homicide in our nation’s capitol. Unraveling the secrets of Nick’s Attorney General and a criminal family from Kentucky. A state dinner and an unwelcome revisit with Nicoletta are only some of the loose ends Sam has to tie up. Kudos to Marie Force for once again giving us a story we cannot put down!

This book has you sitting on the edge of your seat and unable to put it down until you know who did it!!! Called back early from vacation with her husband the President Sam dives head first into who killed the U.S. Attorney. As always her banter and humor helps as she and her team hunt to find the killer.

This was an amazing story full of plot twists and dirty players!!! I loved it and like every book I cannot wait for the next!!!

Another story that keeps you on the edge of your seat. This series is my favorite!! Sam and Nick are an amazing couple. I can hardly sleep while reading these books because as soon as i turn my light off my mind starts racing trying to figure out who done it!!! Cant wait for next book!

My oh my!!!! Never cease to amaze me. Sam and Nick continue. Their story gets better each time. My book arrived at midnight. I had to wait until my physical therapy was done to start. I spent the rest.if the day glued to the book. The cliffhanger was right on. Now I can't wait.

A great new book in the lives of Sam & Nick, their kids, family friends and co-workers. This book draws you in with the suspense of the investigation. But Sam always get justice for her case. Couldn’t put this book down like all over books. Can’t wait for the next book!

All I can say is WOW! I read the book in one sitting! You never know what you get, right on the edge of the seat and pow. The cliff hangers help you anticipate the next Sam and Nick story, but it's hard to wait. Keep Sam and Nick going!

Once again she has done it. Marie mixes great suspense with love and humor to make an outstanding book. She leaves us wanting more. Can’t wait for the next one but am happy she has other projects in the pipeline. Thank you Marie for another amazing adventure

This is another totally entertaining book in this series. I love the characters, the camaraderie, the romance, the snark, the police work, and the political parts. It's very enjoyable. As always, I can't wait for the next book (though I am sad about Juan).
