About this item
All that glimmers is not gold, but nothing glows quite like the gilded cage of Ironside Academy.
The Ironside Show is back. Bigger than ever, and shinier, too.
To the audience, it’s a glorious spectacle, but to Isobel Carter and the Alphas of Dorm A, it’s a trap. A maze. The further they venture, the darker their path becomes, until all the tarnish has flaked away and only the bare metal bars remain.
Every choice has a consequence. Sometimes, they are awarded pretty bribes in pretty packages. Other times, there is only pain. Whatever awaits them, they will have no choice but to forge ahead, each decision leading them deeper into a labyrinth of manipulation and danger.
Their goal: fame, at all costs.
Unfortunately, with fame comes scrutiny, and there’s one secret they can’t afford to reveal.
One beautiful, brutal secret that could bring it all crashing down.
Beware those that climb.
Beware those that fall.
Beware the pretty pretenders, because this social media game just got deadly serious.

5.0 out of 5 stars Top 5 series of all-time!
Now I am going to try and keep this spoiler free so bear with me with the vague-booking. The reunion with the group after the torture Isobel has to endure at the hands of her “loved ones” was amazing. I loved how it all went down and one of my favorite side characters got her little spotlight. So cute and I could imagine her voice in my head when she figured out what was happening haha. Bellamy definitely improved in my eyes and I hope he gets his own happy ending (we get a little hint of a possible thing later in this book and I am so here for it!!). We get to see how worse her dad and his minion get, we do get some questions answered towards the end of the book with revelations from him, and it starts to paint a picture of how he became the way he did and foreshadowing/explaining what’s happening to a different character, but didnt make me like him in the slightest. He still hurts Isobel when he didnt have too. I loved she stood up for herself though!!
Once we are back at Ironside, we get to see more of the “alpha” side of the guys and I loved how the hunt went ???? and loved how their personalities, strategies, and competitiveness came through, I couldnt help giggling haha. We get a perfect and beautiful moment but then this author can’t have us too happy with unicorns and rainbows, where would the fun be in that haha. She rips our hearts out, puts it in a blender, and goes just trust me and the process, it’s worth it haha. And we all follow because she is right haha. We get to see some healing from this horrific moment but more to come in book 5❤️.
The dynamics with Isobel and her guys get heated (THANK YOU SO MUCH) especially with some of the off-limit ones and boooooooy did I smile big and squeal when they finally gave in hahaha. We still have some hold-outs but I bet they will be just as satisfying in the future books when their time comes. There were so many adorable and swoonworthy moments in this part of the adventure, and the STEAM finally amped up and was so worth the wait. So many good ones and I loved the inside jokes and snark we get as the guys open up more with her. And the Dahlia scenes......????????????????. I love the kink that is weaved into this story. So good, so tasteful, so well researched and done well. I cannot wait to see more. I definitely fell for the professors more in this one, with their own naughtiness, their possessiveness showing through, but also how much they can’t help but care for her. All of these will be my book boyfriends by the end of it hahaha. So many to add to the evergrowing list. OH and the humor in this one was unexpected, with all the sad/painful moments. The size of one of the guys and the lack of filter was HILARIOUS and that’s all I will say on the matter ????
We get more levels to this already complicated plot but the readers understand why and how it impacts the dynamic of the games so it makes sense, its not superfluous in the slightest. The evil council baddies are realizing just how much planning and power the eleven have and now have to scramble to try and keep knocking them down a peg. They helped create these behemoth stars, who’s fault is that hahaha. The ending....oh em gee. I so happy to see one of the side characters step up but also am so nervous for what this means for them all. More of the secrets come out, some outside the group and its devastating consequences for some. I am nervous with the guys’ families and the threats to them, but at least one person was taken out and isn't a threat anymore. Ok rant over, I promise haha.
If I could give this more than 5 stars I would. I am waiting to see if they get special editions because I MUST OWN these on kindle, audio, and physical form. I am gonna download the audio as soon as its available, saving a credit for it ???? Amazing job as always, just when I didnt think you could up the ante, make me love this world more and root for these characters more, you prove me wrong. Highly recommend this series, just be ready to fall down the rabbit hole and join us in your newest obsession ????
**** Additional for Audiobook, December 2024 ****
Feel like a broken record, the audio really helps brings this story to life and these characters so I treasure so much. This one was hard to read when it first came out with all the emotional rollercoasters and smashing of feelings haha, but it was elevated even more in audio with the performances. I knew it was coming and cringed and then tried not to cry when the couple scenes happened because of how I would feel hearing it for the first time. It was so good, I don't really have any criticism. I enjoy the changes the narrator does for the different guys, different side characters, and the ferality and then stuff with her dad with the demons coming out to play. 5/5 for audio, cannot wait for the other books to release and the audios to come out too, will be snatching those up instantly <3

5.0 out of 5 stars BEST BOOK YET!!! 10/10!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Filler Chapter IMO
Overall, not bad and I’ll still continue to the next book when it comes out.

5.0 out of 5 stars This book will wreck you in all the best ways!
Jane Washington is an absolute genius in her ability to lay breadcrumbs throughout each book. These tiny hints utterly blow your mind when they lead to massive, truly unexpected twists and turns. She’s managed to make a very large cast of characters all feel unique and multidimensional.
If a book has never made you want to throw it across the room before, this one will. It absolutely will, but then, you’ll race across the room to rescue it—because you’ll HAVE to know what’s going to happen next. It will take you through the full spectrum of human emotion, and leave you speechless—and desperate for more. It is, without a doubt, one of the best books I’ve read this year.
Jane Washington manages to bring everything up a notch with every new book in this series, and Relever is no different. More action, more intrigue, more twists, and much more spice! This is everything you want, and more. If you don’t buy any other book this year, get this one! You will not regret it!
Also! The links in the beginning to the map and character cards are such an amazing touch! I love having “cheat sheets!”
