Soooooo many morals to this story through humor. The illustrations are on point and my entire class laughed and laughed. In fact, I had to read it 3x!

Looking for the silver lining when there are setbacks is a key trait of resiliency. This book is a great way to help kids overcome perfectionism and look for ways to grow from their mistakes or when life gets messy. I would hope that parents, teachers, and mentors would read this book with lots of drama to make it highly entertaining (and maybe teach how ridiculous we all look when throwing a fit). The illustrations, layout, and text are engaging.

Funny, cute, and love the book/story. Initially got the soft cover for my son's Secret Santa gift exchange for his school (3yr) - the requirement was over $10. Upon receiving the book..... the book is small and super thin, definitely didn't look like over $10 book - more like $5 if so. I decided to return the soft-covered version and paid a couple $ more for the hard-covered one. Looks much nicer and it's worth it.

It is a unique book that captivates a child because of how Finn interacts with the reader. My daughter immediately rated the book as her favorite book. We only got this book 3 days ago and she has been reading it every night. I can’t wait to get the rest of the Finn books. Congrats to the author!

Finn the frog goes back and forth with the child that reads the book Finn actually lives in! Watch how the messy child wreaks havoc with Finn as he turns the beautifully illustrated pages! What delicious treat ends up for Finn at the end of all the mess? Perhaps not all messes are made to be perfectly fixed!

A picture book about a frog named Finn that likes everything perfect. His prized possession is a book. When visitors come and spill things on it, get it sticky with gum and tear its pages, Finn becomes distrught.

The illustrations are eye-popping and the text fun to read out loud. There is not much to the plot or character. Appropriate for preschoolers or primary grade children looking for light-hearted humor.
