This was so great to see Millie and Enzo married and with children. It was awesome to see Millie living the life she wanted and deserved as well as watching Enzo be her partner in life.
The ending was great and a really satisfying end to all three books. I was excited to see some characters come full circle.

About this item
“You must be our new neighbors!” Mrs. Lowell gushes and waves across the picket fence. I clutch my daughter’s hand and smile back: but the second Mrs. Lowell sees my husband a strange expression crosses her face. In that moment I make a promise. We finally have a family home. My past is far, far behind us. And I’ll do anything to keep it that way…
I used to clean other people’s houses—now, I can’t believe this home is actually mine. The charming kitchen, the quiet cul-de-sac, the huge yard where my kids can play. My husband and I saved for years to give our children the life they deserve.
Even though I’m wary of our new neighbor Mrs. Lowell, when she invites us over for dinner it’s our chance to make friends. Her maid opens the door wearing a white apron, her hair in a tight bun. I know exactly what it’s like to be in her shoes. But her cold stare gives me chills…
The Lowells’ maid isn’t the only strange thing on our street. I’m sure I see a shadowy figure watching us. My husband leaves the house late at night. And when I meet a woman who lives across the way, her words chill me to the bone: Be careful of your neighbors.
Did I make a terrible mistake moving my family here?
I thought I’d left my darkest secrets behind. But could this quiet suburban street be the most dangerous place of all?
From New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Freida McFadden comes the next installment of the unbelievably twisty, tension-packed and globally bestselling Housemaid series. This book can be enjoyed as a standalone read: and once you start, it will have you up all night racing through the pages until the final explosive twist.

My Review:
Loved, loved and more loved!!!!! What didn’t I love about this is the real question. This one kept me up all night long swiping the pages so fast that I thought my finger was going to fall off. I had to finish it and fast. This author quickly became one of my favorites after I read the first book in this series called The Housemaid. She had me hooked after that and I just knew I had to start reading all her books. I’ve only finished a few so far but I’m determined to keep on going until I’m done. This series started off with a bang and it just keeps getting better and better with each passing book. This one has to be my favorite so far though. Each character has shown so much growth from the first book. Don’t worry though they haven’t changed too much. They are still the same old characters at heart from the first book that we all loved and got attached to. Now let’s talk about my favorite part, the ending. Wow and more wow. My jaw dropped. It left me totally speechless. There were so many twists that I didn’t see coming. This author is amazing and everyone must read this series. It’s awesome. I can’t wait to read more books by this author. In fact, I know her next book is coming out in October called The Boyfriend. I also know that I will not be doing anything else that day besides reading that book. I know it will be just as good as her other books I have read.
In conclusion, the plot, the characters and all the twists in this book made this book an enjoyable read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Love, love, love this mystery series

What a fun series!! The Housemaid is watching is the 3rd book in the series and I would definitely read one and two before enjoying this one.
"My past is far, far behind us. And I'll do anything to keep it that way." As Millie continues her story in Long Island, her and her husband Enzo have bought a beautiful home in a charming cul-de-sac away from their small apartment. They now have room for their two kids to play and enjoy separate bedrooms. Once they are there, Millie thinks they have made a terrible mistake. Her nosy neighbors are always watching. One neighbor suggests to Millie "Be careful of your neighbors."
Suzette and Jonathan Lowell live across the street and it appears Suzette has her eyes on Enzo, who is extremely handsome and Millie is used to other women staring at him, but Suzette takes it to another level.
There are several story-lines going on that are addictive, page turning and riveting. The twists appear rapidly at the end and some surprises along the way. I was unsure of one of the decisions the author made at the end that didn't give reasoning, but she is so talented I decided I missed something. It doesn't take away from the mystery unfolding and is well worth the fun experiences that Millie is still innocently elusive of everything she does that will make you laugh aloud. Enjoy it and just know there is another maid Martha that enters the story and she is watching also.

Praise for the book #TheHousemaidIsWatching by #FreidaMcFadden. I absolutely love this book along with the previous two. Millie and Enzo are the ultimate couple and now parents. They move into a house in a nice neighborhood and things start going awry. It seems like trouble is always following them. Can they escape this craziness? I hope there will be a fourth installment to these two crazy but loving people.

This was not it! Why do we have to have a neighbor for a pervert? Like come on. Not even a psychological thriller…just totally lame! Terrible story line and terrible “twist” if you can even call it that. Many will waste their time with this story and Frieda girl….this just wasn’t it! Boo. 2 thumbs down!

The housemaid has a maid of her own
Reviewed in the United States on June 11, 2024
Millie moved her family into a new neighborhood. This is her dream home. Millie soon discovers that some of her neighbors cannot be trusted. Soon the paranoia starts to fuel her imaginative mind with some crazy speculations.
…
Millie is no longer a housemaid. Enzo believes Millie deserves to have a housemaid for their new home. But Millie’s criminal past continues to haunt her causing her to project those fears onto others.
…
Freida McFadden is best known for her psychological thrillers. Often times the surprises and twists can get over inflated on many levels. This is one of those times where the twists and turns kept on coming at you from all directions. Freida used all the tools necessary to create this thriller, yet I couldn’t help growing tired of the same formula for discrediting a character. Millie’s criminal background kept her an unreliable source of information driving her fear and paranoia to reach absurd heights
…
Two narrators: Lauryn Allman and Ina Marie Smith. I listened using the Netgalley app. In my opinion since audiobooks have been available I’ve become obsessed with them. I would rather listen to an audiobook rather than read it myself. I’ve grown spoiled by voice actors who have the talent to create a great listening experience. Over the years the availability of narrators has grown allowing authors a wider range of skills and talent. I’m not familiar with either of these performers work, but I did enjoy both voice actors skills.
…
This book is a solid three stars due to the way this story spent too much effort to make everyone seem dishonest or suspicious in the eyes of Millie. These types of storylines are too commonplace and I’m tired of reading or listening to them. In some ways they are predictable do to the number of books I’ve read with these plot lines.
