Evanna and her friends go out and she hooks up with a sexy stranger. However, she was drunker than she thought and weeks later she realizes her night with the stranger went further than she thought because now she is pregnant. Evanna is about to meet her new boss that has been away on business, so she is nervous about that. Nicholas is considered a cold man, so everyone is somewhat nervous when he is around. When Evanna sees him its even worse than she thought because he is the sexy stranger from her night out with her friends. Then she does something embarrassing and vomits on him. This doesn't look like its going to be a promising start for her new job. Will things look up for Evanna? Will she tell Nicholas about the baby?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. It's a book that any book lover would enjoy it.

This is the first story I have read by Erin Havoc. It is a quick reading novella with some heat.

** Contains adult language and a couple of steamy adult intimate scenes with dominance and a dirty talking older man. **

I love the length and think it is perfect for a really quick read (about an hour) while still getting a little bit of steam. I was pleasantly surprised by his mouth during their ‘play’ and look forward to the next story.

The story development is better than I expected, but I just could have used some more descriptions. I know their ages, both have dark hair, but what color are their eyes?

I mention the following for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors interrupt the flow and visualization. There are a couple of grammatical issues, but nothing difficult to interpret, such as incorrect punctuation, an extra inserted word and an incorrect word choice.

Here is how the story begins:
The story is about Evanna, who is about to start her first adult job, and Nicholas, the owner of an investment firm. He is 45 and notorious for his bad temper and how he yells at employees. She is 21 and getting ready to the meet the boss for the first time.

Evanna is experiencing severe issues with her stomach. Must have been something she ate, but she can’t keep anything down. Her friend, Lin, is the boss’ assistant and she is trying to help Evanna get herself back together. Lin asks her if she is alright and could she be pregnant. Evanna was a drunk virgin when she hooked up at the club with the handsome older man on her birthday, but she is convinced that couldn’t be possible.

Evanna has no regrets about that night except she didn’t get his name or number. She thinks she has the vomiting under control and it is time for her to meet her new boss. They arrive at her cubical and he is getting off the elevator.

Nicholas can’t believe that he found her! The young woman that he met a couple of months ago, that got away before he could get her name or phone number, is there in front of him. She is so much younger, but she is the only one that called to him … then he realizes she is now off limits because she works for him!

Evanna can’t believe her eyes! It is him! The sexy, handsome, older man from the club! Surely he doesn’t recognize or remember her, but she could never forget. Then when he gets a little closer, she has absolutely no doubt it is him, because he smells exactly the same … oh goodness, the smell … Could this day get any worse? Turns out it could … When she goes to introduce herself, she vomits right on his shoes!

For a short story it's ok... The "office romance" was not very original and it went too quickly. Where was the back story? The plot never thickened and it fell flat.

This was an amazing read. This new series is going to be fantastic. Evanna keeps throwing up and she is not sure why. Her friend Lin (Pauline) suggests she may be pregnant. What Evanna didn't expect was him. Nicholas is the boss of the big company where Lin and Evanna work. He walks in to work one day only to lock eyes with her. The passion and the yearning for eachother is intense. This is definitely a book I would recommend.

I enjoyed reading this story. It started off a bit scary, in the sense she feared rejection from him for their one night together and the two stripes. He recognized her, and wanted to be a better person for her. How cool is that. He finds out her secret, and it makes him happy! Loved their epilogue, still smiling.

Evanna and Nicholas.

I loved reading this short story.
This is an age gap romance and a girl with curves, not a bean pole.

I loved the characters, plot and storyline.
I loved the hot sex talk and how they played out

I really loved the HEA!
