About this item

Danny Walker, my big brother’s arrogant, powerful, handsome, and completely unobtainable best friend.

He’s a ruthless tech tycoon, and I take calls from angry clients who can’t reset their passwords.

He lives in a London mansion with holiday homes worldwide, and I rent a room in a flat-share with my best friend and mice.

Our worlds couldn’t be further apart.

Falling for him is not an option.

Eight years ago, I made the mistake of flirting with him only to be rejected…hard.

To this day, he won’t acknowledge me as anything more than his best friend’s silly little sister. Which is fine because I can’t stand to be around that emotionless CEO.

Regardless of him being the hottest man I’ve ever met.

Now I find out he’s bought the company I work for, making him my boss’s boss’s boss.

And he wants to get rid of me.

Danny Walker is not a man to be messed with.

But perhaps there’s more behind his cold, detached stares than I thought.

Stone-faced ruthless CEOs don’t fall for scatty girls like me. Or do they?

Taming Mr. Walker is a standalone, full-length sizzling office enemies-to-lovers romance starring a brooding CEO and a feisty, sarcastic younger heroine.

Loved it, was it predictable at times? Yes. But did that make it brining? Not at all! It was fun, witty banter, a little anxiety but you knew you were safe. Characters were fun and relatable. Cozy spicy read.

This is my first time reading a book by this author. It was really enjoyable and the relationship between the main characters was humorous and sweet.

It has all the elements of a great Romance book: like able characters, interesting plot, steamy love scenes, romance, witty banter, and humor.

I’ll definitely read something else by this author.

Trope: workplace (CEO, employee), age gap (13 years), brothers best friend, millionaire/billionaire

Hero is the CEO of a tech company. His company just acquired the company heroine works for. He is cold, intimidating, sexy. He is best friends with the heroine's brother.

Heroine works as IT support. She has had a crush on heroine for many years. She made a pass at him 8 years ago which he turned down and she has been embarrassed ever since. He wants her to leave the company so he doesn't have to be around her, she is off limits. she doesn't budge and fights for a spot to try to stay.

Decent storyline, but I didn't necessarily feel the chemistry between the characters. I was told that they were a match but never really shown it. Then heroine's insecurities just felt so repetitive and tiring.

The difference between romance novels equates to character development. The story line can be tweeted slightly but when you know the characters, when you can connect with them, then you find a romance worth your time. Taming Mr Walker is well worth your time. Well written.
