I think this is one of the most lighthearted stories I've read by Michelle Heard.
Dario La Rosa is not only one of the heads of the Cosa Nostra. He is also a lover of arts who acquired a ballet company simply because of his passion for it, and one night after rehearsal, he finds himself enthralled by a dancer he's never seen before. Little did he know that this woman was not a part of his company and would flip his world upside down. Eden is a girl from the wrong side of town, who's been to hell and back and finds a moment of reprieve dancing by herself in one of the studios where she works as a janitor. The last thing on her mind was that she would find the love and acceptance she's been craving all her life in the arms of a man who watched her dancing from the shadows.
I love the way Eden was portrayed. Her strength and the way she'd do anything to survive, even when she found herself in the shıttıəst of situations, were remarkable. I enjoyed the way her relationships with Tyrone and Mandy came across and the huge contrast presented between these two parental figures. I also quite enjoyed Eden's stubbornness and how she was not willing to give up her independence and be a stay-at-home wife even though Dario insisted on giving her everything she could ever need and more.
Now, even though I loved Dario and Eden's story, I think we can all agree that the real love story here was between Dario and Bella. ???????? All jokes aside, I really enjoyed reading this book, and I can't wait to see what the hell is going on with Damiano.
