This kindle e-book novella is from my Kindle Unlimited account book three of four

A trial is being conducted in a murder case. A great story with interesting characters lots of action and misdirection leading to the unexpected conclusion.

I would recommend this series and author to ???? readers of relationships novels ????????. 2024 ????????

...of the first three entries in this series that have been right between four and five stars for me -- last time I rounded up, so this time I rounded down, but it's still very good. Looking forward to the finale.

I have read the first two books however you do not need to read in order. The third book focuses on the murder trial of a man for killing the officer. Lots of twists and turns and several big surprises in the ending. A fun read. Looking forward to the fourth.

Kinda if slow. Not Much depth. Denver usually does a better job. Maybe the shoe vignette is not for me. Others might like it.

If you like courtroom drama, Mr. Deaver manages to make it page-burner! That isn't realistic, but it makes good reading. This volume keeps pace with the others in this series.

This was another fascinating story with such interesting information on how trials, verdicts, etc work. In these short stories having the characters show up at different times in the different stories is also really satisfying

Another quick novella in the series. Some new characters, some from the earlier stories. A couple of twists and once again, well developed characters. Interesting and partially unexpected results.
