About this item

The mercenaries set an explosive scheme in motion to blow this bad dream to smithereens. But in chapter five of The Boy in the Iron Box, they soon find that even the best-laid plans can backfire.

With the morale of the team fraying, Liev makes a vow. He’s not going to leave anyone behind until the last stand is seen through to its cold and bitter end. On this night, it’s Liev who lies in wait to face everything he’s feared. It’s nothing like he expected.

From Academy Award–winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro comes Siege, chapter five of The Boy in the Iron Box, a blood-chilling serialized novel about an ancient secret that was never meant to be unleashed, featuring exclusive interior artwork. Each chapter can be read or listened to in one breathless sitting.

I was so into this one I didn't realize I was almost done. This last stand is impeccable but sad. It could've at least been more than 1 left.

What complimentary things can anyone say about these two well known artists that hasn't already been said? I consumed this writing like the starving wolves depicted and walked away wanting the next story. The authors names are commendation enough - read this book!

There is suspense here, in spades. At least the good guys have a plan, but the outlook is not great.

When a plane full of Russian mercenaries goes down in an undisclosed arctic location and comes face to face with an ancient mystery, it begins a dark tale with more questions than answers. As the story unravels, it gets darker and more curious by the moment. A chilling read!

What happens when the expected conclusion arrives too soon? Everything after is the twist. It looks like book six is the twist.

The saga continues with lots of blood and violence. The team continues to try and protect themselves from the boy but it is a tough battle. An interesting read.

The story takes an interesting twist but still holds on to the original idea. Would love to see it all as one book. It would certainly make easier reading.
