Corinne has done it again! I couldn’t think of a more perfect ending to the Whitlock Family series than this book. Forgotten Desires has become my new favorite of the series. It had everything that I love about Corinne’s books and yet so much more. Not to mention, it had all of my favorite tropes…second chance, single dad, small town, and marriage of convenience. There’s nothing like having a book packed with all of your favorite tropes.
Since reading Tempting Promises, I was so excited Brynn and Crew’s story. I was also curious to find what had happened between them years ago and what had caused their separation. Seeing these characters come back together and deal with the family drama made this book unputdownable. I loved that chemistry between these characters. Just seeing the way Crew cared for Brynn and his daughter just made my heart melt. I mean what’s more sexier than a cinnamon roll hero that’s also a single dad! Then there’s the things that he would do for Brynn such as buying the house where they had first met. Now that’s what I call a swoon worthy hero! I also loved revisiting with the previous couples in this series. Some of my favorite moments would’ve to be the moments between the Whitlock siblings. Even though it was sad to say goodbye to the Whitlock family and the town of Sugarloaf, I don’t think that I could’ve asked for a more perfect conclusion to this series.
Forgotten Desires is the feel good romance of the year that you won’t want to miss. If you’re an audiobook lover like me, I would highly recommend listening to the audiobook. The narration from Teddy Hamilton and Stella Hunter was so good! They really brought these characters to life and made this book even more enjoyable. So, do yourself a favor and make sure to pick up this highly addictive and emotional series!

Corinne Michaels knows how to write a small town romance filled with charm, angst, and all the steam. This series has been so fun to read, primarily for those reasons, and I loved that it ended with this one, the story of the Whitlock sister. Bryn was a fun character to get to know. Her devotion to her father and her desire to risk everything to save him, made it impossible not to love her. Carson was a little bit harder to get to know, but once I had a clear understanding of his motivations and intent, I was in it for them to win it.
