    If you are looking for a read to brighten your day or get you out of a reading slump this definitely meets the criteria. The characters are relatable and fun. Even when they are frustrating you are rooting for them.

    The body positive aspects are relatable and emotionally grounded without being triggering and the spice is a ????????????.

    I have read the others in this series and found them to be pretty great as well.

    I loved Hayes and Willa's story. Out of the three books so far in the series I loved this story the most. Hayes is such a great guy, just like all the Kingmans, but I loved that he wasnt girl crazy like some of the other brothers we see in the stories. He was set to be good at school, football, and be there for his family. That all changed with he ran into Willa again after not seeing her for years after high school. Willa was away teaching students English in Vietnam and just not wanting to stay rooted to anything that has to do with Denver, and honestly if I had to deal with a family like hers I would too. Id stay as far away as I possibly could. But things happened and she is now in Denver for an extended amount of time, trying not to fall for her hot football player neighbor Hayes.

    I loved their dynamic. They understood each other on a different level than other couples. I feel like they just wanted to make the other happy without them having to sacrifice their own passions. The way they supported each other, especially Hayes towards Willa, was just something nice to see. Also the way Hayes became so "possessive" of Willa was just HOT.

    This is such a good cozy read. Not a lot of spice, but there is SPICE. This would be a perfect palette cleanser if you do read a lot of heavier books. They talk about Christmas in this so not sure if you are the time to read seasonal-ish books during that season Id wait til around Xmas time. But I dont think its necesarry since its not the holidays for most of the book, just a chapter or two.

    Over a 4 out of 5 and I CANT WAIT for the fourth book that comes out later this year!

    This is the 3rd book is Amy Award's The Cocky Kingmans Series. This book series follows the lives of the Kingman Brothers as they try to navigate the pressures of being pro football athletes and trying to find love.

    Despite the title, this book did not have that much in the way of spicy scenes. There were some intimate moments don’t get me wrong. Yet, it was definitely not the focus of this book. The writer always focuses on body positivity and happy endings.

    The third book unfortunately fell a little flat compared to the previous two. It was definitely worth the read to enjoy the banter and witty humor. Plus, who doesn't love cats!

    I can't wait to read the next book in this series "The Anaconda Downstairs"!

    Didn’t get the opportunity to rate books 1&2 but I’m doing it while rating book 3. Loved them all! The characters were fantastic. The writing was phenomenal. The books had humor, so much love and the story was so rich that I could actually see these being real people in the world. Thanks for the laughter and tears because I cried during the characters times of heartache and indecision. Hope there are more to come. Love me some Kingman!

    I do so love when the guy falls first and hard. Hayes has been attracted to Willa for years, but she left the country right out of high school. Once she's back in town, though, Hayes makes haste and asks for a date. As they navigate the problems that arise in the early days, they quickly realize they're both all in. They just need to figure out how to marry their lives. Hayes and Willa are absotively posolutely adorable together with Willa's cat Seven!

    I don't even remember how i stumbled on this series of books but dang do they have me hooked. The way Amy writes...ugh it's good for your soul. Her hidden messages within her fmc of self love and acceptance are beautiful. These women are beautiful and hidden behind that insecurity (created by the world, their family/friends, and men) is this wonderful world of love, awareness and awakening as they find their place in life with men that love them and a family willing to see every side they have to offer and encourage them. The men are gruff and hard and a bit surly to the world but in their family unit you get to see them laugh and let loose. Then they find this woman just needing a little love and support and you get to see their gooey centers where they just melt for just her. Not to mention...the men are filthy in the best ways. I love they support smut and love via their women reading! Willa and Hayes are a bit more tame out of the brothers so far but dang...Hayes knew how to show up. When she was in the shadows he showed her time and time again she deserves the spotlight. Xander...well he needs to take one of those kitties. Oh the animals ???????? I devoured each book. I want more!

    I loved this book.
    It was so heartwarming and fun. The Kingmans are definitely my favorite football family.
    They are always there to help each other as well as give each other crap.

    Willa has just come home from teaching abroad because one of her g-uncles have news. She is hoping that the news is good, as one of them has been really sick. While she is home she runs into Hayes, who is not the same guy who was friends with her brother when she left Denver. Now he's a pro football player and the sweetest guy she's ever met.

    This was a wonderful story. I love that the Kingmans like fluffy girls.

    This series is a must read. I can't wait to see which one is next.
