About this item

When my magic suddenly awakens and uninvited guests crash my birthday party, the Fae royal guard saves me... And kidnaps me.

These irresistible, protective Fae want to whisk me away to their enchanted realm. A world that's fading without its queen — me.

To save the Tree of Life and Fae magic, I'll need to claim five consorts, one of each Fae kind:

A tall, ancient Elf. A powerful, charming Kitsune. A bookish, reclusive Duwende. A moody but magnetic Veela. And a playful, flirtatious Nixie.

Until my birthday, I thought I was human, and I had no idea magic is real. To make matters worse, not everyone wants me to take the throne — and the enemy is hunting me.

Instead of graduating college, it's time to discover if an inexperienced young Fae like me can really save a world I never knew existed.

No pressure, right?

Our Fae Queen is a deliciously slow-burn, steamy fantasy romance with a reluctant queen and slow-build relationships spanning the series. Spice level, M/M content, and polyamory themes increase as this new adult series progresses. Our leading lady will bond with five Fae consorts by the end.

The series must be read in order.

To where I got was fascinating, but became repetitive and the fmc just annoyed me after a while... my favorite was how much actual lore and history was in this series... I love learning and the author seems to their stuff... it is a good story.... I am just impatient and tend to not finish a lot of books that start to annoy me????

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read, a little redundant but good.

I enjoyed this story. It has twists and turns and the slow building of main characters flows pretty good. There however is a few times it’s repetitive.

3.0 out of 5 stars The FMC is completely unrelatable.
Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2024
I find the FMC unrelatable and unappealing. She's told that she's the future queen of a dying magical realm and all she has to do to cement her rule and, more importantly. to save all life in the Fae realm is to have sex with five beautiful men or women of her choosing, under a giant sacred tree, once every century. And she's told that fae are dying every day until this great rite is performed and what does she do? She gasps, clutches her pearls, and wails "You're trying to make me a sex slave!". Completely unrelatable. I would perform unspeakable sex acts with the five most loathsome males on the planet to save even five people. i might have to throw myself into a volcano afterward to, erase the act from living memory, but I would still do it. It's hard to imagine a more self-centered or immature character. I'm at the end of the second book in the first volume and seriously debating whether I want to continue reading. If I finish the series I will update with a final review.

1.0 out of 5 stars don’t like this at all

For one fl was annoyingly immature. She is supposed to be an adult and in college. She behaved like some preteen girl. The men were immature. There was an abnormal amount of gay characters for a book not listed in the lgbt category. Her insecurities were plentiful and I’m over it. Tall girl and short guy is just weird to me and unattractive to read about. She was obsessed with a dude shorter than her that kissed another chic right in front of her another turnoff. This whole story was just blah and reeked if weak characters and immature behavior. I’m over it. Not a fun read.
