    I was hooked on this within a few pages. I loved that it is a prequel and gives us more back story for the full length book for Mel and Xander. I now NEED to find out what is going to happen. Their chemistry is what I love the most and can't wait to find out what happens.

    This was a fantastic short story that gave you everything and more until the end, now I have to wait until the next book to continue with Xander and Melissa, Xander is best friends with her brother. They are suppose to be enemies, he is next inline to take over from his Mafia dad. Melissa is beautiful she is younger but instant attraction, forbidden fruit, he was her first time except there are secrets that could change everything.

    This is one in a series. This book hangs on a cliffhanger.
    Melissa (Mel) Sedric is our beautiful, blond, green eyed bombshell and MFC.
    Zander Amory is soon to be Pakhan of the Amory Family. He tall, muscled and gorgeous! Also our MMC.
    The characters in this book is so well written that you get a feel for each of them.
    Zander and Melissa fall in love but have something big standing in their way of happiness. Decisions make keeping Zander in the dark.
    Read this awesome book filled with adventure, mafia life, intrigue and spiciness. Leaves on a cliffhanger and I cannot wait for the next book!

    The way she talked about her first kiss was just too funny and at the same time very sad. He knew he should stay away from her but they had a chemistry that couldn't be denied. She knew the life that both of them were meant to lead and even though she knew she shouldn't she wanted to spend it with him. It is understandable why the fathers wanted what they wanted but it is still sad. I look forward to reading the next book to see what the future brings them all.
