Just when Heather things are calming down, she is thrown a curve ball or two. Her office assistant and his boyfriend show up at her house and Victor only knows a large, strange man in on her porch, so he comes to the rescue and ends up in a near fist fight. As the days go by, Heather is asked by many people if she if leaving on the date she stated when she showed up or if she will be staying. As she weighs her options, her old boss calls and asks her to play along with some clients on the phone, then calls back and offers her a job with a much bigger package deal. As Heather rolls that around in her head, she gets a call from her nephew with some distressing news.

The next and last installment of this series should be packed with some hard, get-wrenching decisions and lots of love thrown in for good measure.

Heather is glad Victor has returned, and they get a chance to spend some time together. The next day Patrick and his new boyfriend show up, and Victor thinks Roger a big man is an intruder. Heather gets angry and breaks it up and lets them both have it. Heather is getting used to this new life and likes it, but then out of the blue her old boss needs her and offers her a new deal. Then her nephew calls her, and he is very upset something is wrong with his grandfather. So much is happening Heather has a lot of things to work through. It should be a great book 6 to bring it all together.

5.0 out of 5 stars You Can Never Go Back

As several in the family begin to come to terms with things in their past, including Heather, as she begins to draw closer to Victor again the phone in her pocket goes off. It is her former boss trying to get her to come back to work when Heather calls her bluff, even though she has offered her triple everything, Heather realizes she is just being used again, so she let’s the boss believe she has one when Victor leaves extremely hurt believing she has once again dumped him. Before she can begin to think of anything to settle her mind a call comes through from her nephew panicked because her father can’t breathe. I received the book as an ARC free from Ivory Fields and I leave this review voluntarily.

I really liked this book. Lots of information and people changing and finding themselves and each other. It was hard watching River go through so much as his family stood by not knowing exactly what to do. Each chapter helped you get to know their personalities a little bit better. It kept me enticed from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book

I am really enjoying this series. Now that Heather has come home, so many emotions and issues from her past have come into play. She had so many things to work out. Now that she has made a good connection with her father, something seems to have happened to him. This was the cliffhanger at the end of the book and I am anxiously awaiting the next book to see what happens. Heather has a life changing decision to make so I can't wait for that also. What will it be???

5.0 out of 5 stars Looking to the Future

In book 5 Heather is adjusting to her unemployment status. Ex-coworker Patrick shows up with his friend. Threatened at first Victor apologizes and the group spends time together. River seems to be healing and recuperating.

A shocking phone call puts Heather’s future into question. What is the answer she has been looking for? How can she best carry out iPokni’s wishes?

Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.

Everything seems to be coming together for Heather and it appears she is going to stay home where her family is. An absolutely surprising phone call from NY. Her old boss. Asking for help. Wanting her back big time. She can pretty much name the price. What should she do? End of story.
I was given an ARC of this book and am leaving a review voluntarily.
