I fell in love with this series when I first found Fractured Fates last year and have obsessively devoured every book since (many, many times). Burdened Bonds was the perfect follow up and an excellent addition to the series. I can’t wait for the final book in October. Does it have to be the final one? :(

Ok, down to business…

This book starts off where book 3 ended - A complete cluster….. Marcus Lowsky is dead. Renzo, my favorite psycho, time/spaced Rhi somewhere, away from the academy. Spencer is back after hitching a dragon Uber. Tristan is dying after taking a curse meant for Rhi. The school is still under attack and Rhianna’s mates and friends are trying to find her.

Hope that’s helpful if you don’t like to reread the whole series before the next book comes out.

Burdened Bonds focuses a lot on developing Rhi’s relationship with Renzo, Rhianna and her mates finding their way back to each other after splitting up (which is a large portion of the book) and the aftermath of what happened after the council was attacked. Along the way, Rhi learns a lot about herself, her mates, her magic and a bit about her parents.

Let’s just say you’re in for a wild ride of epic proportions. The characters are well-developed, the world-building is excellent, and the story is captivating. I can’t recommend this series enough.

This book is a bit different from a lot of RH series, where usually by the next to last book we have a cohesive group working to resolve overall plot issues around a big bad, but in this one the group isn't even fully aware at the start of this book who all is a part of it. We have some separation for the first part as a result of what occurred at the end of Shattered Stars, but I loved when we see them all together again and start working together towards a cohesive group. I can't wait for the final book in the series and to see how everything works out.

This series has it all action, adventure, steamy passionate chemistry n love scenes, friendship, love, devotion, hate, every emotion you could possibly think of literally jumps off the page and grabs you by your throat and keeps you wanting more and more! There's secrets to unravel and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book to figure out those mysteries! This book will keep you suspended at the edge of your seat waiting to find out what could possibly happen next and the best thing is it is very unpredictable with twists and turns that you don't see coming and can't figure out what's going to happen and when you do find out it leaves you breathless! Hannah Haze is an amazing author! You keep writing Mrs Haze and we your loyal fans will absolutely keep devouring whatever you put out! Anxiously awaiting the next installment!!!

The first books in this series was amazing, but this one has far surpassed even those and was amazing!! I read it far too fast bc I couldn’t put it down! The character growth and development in this one is unbelievable!! It starts right where the last book left off and you get to know Barone way better. He has evolved and become one of my favorite characters. His thought process is hilarious and geniuine. You get to see more of Tristan’s family and what makes him the way he is. The ones who were in the hot plate are finally redeeming themselves in genuine ways. All of her mates are learning that in this world with the way things are going they are better working together to get their goals accomplished.
Love her best friend in this! Most authors write in a best friend as a side character, but don’t include them often. In this book there’s several chapters where she is working alongside a couple of Rhi’s mates to find Rhi and I love their dynamic! Love that she’s an active part of the story.
Can not wait for the final book to this series. The way they keep getting better I look forward to it to be the best one yet and can not wait to see all the twists and turns the author takes to unveil the ending!!

I was looking forward to continuing the series but unfortunately, the dialogue between main characters has digressed to the point that grown men talk like teenagers, 6 supposedly very powerful people keep getting defeated by the same man over and over, and worst of all, the author pulled out the worst, most annoying, most over-used trope on the plant, the long-lost princess shtick. (Rhi’s father was the black prince and Renzo has already mentioned that she could run the whole country so I’m sure a crown is in her future.) I won’t be finishing the series.

Rhi has all of her fated mates but they're separated after the attack on the academy. New and old enemies arise and no one really knows what is going on or way. The only thing that's important is reuniting and evading capture because Rhi and her men are wanted.
Rhi is as strong as ever. She loves fiercely and has a big heart. She's a strong and likeable character. Her men are getting their witts about them and finally realizing, Rhi is all that matters. There's lots of danger and many things left uncovered. I can't wait for the last book.
