I was blown away with Carter’s book, The Fallen One, but after reading Oliver and Mya’s story—I have to say this is my favorite Brittney Sahin novel to date.

We have been watching Oliver and Mya circle each other for three books now in this series—always snarking and arguing with each other—but the undeniable attraction between them was obvious. FINALLY, this is there story.

The Wrecked One is an intensely emotional tale of heartbreak, survival, hope, and a love so strong that it banishes the threatening darkness. You can FEEL the love between these two from the first pages. Oliver has always wanted Mya, but afraid he’d never have a chance, and Mya’s instinct is to run from intimacy, which is why she has always pushed him away—until she can’t anymore, which is how their story begins.

While working undercover together on an op, which is a continuing plot from The Fallen One(it is recommended you read that first), Oliver and Mya are placed in a horrific situation where unimaginable choices are made, all for the sake of trying to save the other. Upon their rescue, the devastation of the aftermath forces Oliver away from Mya and their team. Mya’s vow to fight for him is riddled with tears, angst, action, but also so much love. We also meet Oliver’s father and get true insight to his past to better understand the source of his breaking point.

This book is emotionally overpowering, but in the best way. This is exactly the story this long awaited couple deserved. Between their feelings for each other, and haunted by their own inner demons from their attack, Mya and Oliver’s story had my heart pounding. Brittney Sahin’s attention to detail, as well as her incredible ability to story tell, draws you into a world you believe to be real. These characters’ pain and ultimate joy is FELT, which not every author can do.

I adored Oliver and Mya ever since their appearance together in The Guarded One, and couldn’t be happier with their HEA. It’s very bittersweet that this series has come to an end, but I find it wonderfully fitting that the Falcon team(thus the series)was formed because Carter and Gray joined forces so they could have Oliver on their team, only to have his story be the finale. Perfect ending! (And lots of exciting hints of stories to come!)

This story has been building for so long and the wait is finally over for Oliver & Mya!

**HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU READ THE SERIES FIRST OR AT LEAST, Carter's story**

Brittney S. absolutely outdid herself yet again with this one. The Wrecked One is her best book to date. She has filled the pages with mystery, impossible situations, a stunning show of emotion, strong characters that grow through them, sassy women, dream worthy alpha men, and holy hotness the steam! I never wanted this book to end. Oliver and Mya find themselves dealing with some pretty heavy issues in the midst of being in hiding and on the run while The Falcon Falls team go head to head against "The Collective". Sahine takes you on a roller-coaster of laughter, squeals of excitement, hugging the edge of your seat excitement, and maybe a few tears. What a beautiful way to end a stellar series.

Mya works for Falcon Falls Security.
Oliver works for Falcon False Security.

Oliver and Mya have known each other for a while.
There is a definite attraction and chemistry between them and the relationship has a descending ascending that ignites the sparks to off the charts.
Mya is a strong, sassy, feisty stubborn and independent female.
Oliver is a typical alpha protective male.
This on going war with the collective and Falcon Falls Security comes to a head.
Mya and Oliver having targets on their backs , being on the run and dealing with issues.
This is a great end to the series and I Loved it.

This book has edge of your seat suspense, danger, intrigue, family, loyalty, emotional heartache and tragedy.

This is hands down one of my favorite books by Brittney Sahin and is easily in my top five favorite books in this genre!! This book is filled with drama, action, romance, humor, and edge of your seat heart stopping moments!! I have always loved Oliver and Mya, but seeing them together and reading their perspectives made me love them even more! And seeing how the Falcon Series ended while having connections to her previous series made it such a fun and spectacular read! I cannot wait for what she writes next!!!

Though a standalone, I definitely recommend reading in order to truly appreciate and grasp not only these two characters, but all of the characters in this book. Regardless, this is a must-read for Brittney Sahin books!!

I know this book is labeled a "second chance" romance, but I honestly don't see it that way. The amount of hard living Oliver and Mya go through before meeting, during their "only colleagues days", and in the budding of their relationship is not living. They survived and were heck of survivors at that while carrying all the baggage of their past tragedies, but I can't say living or their time together was a "second chance" to know love. Their story together was one of learning how to trust, who really matters, healing, and learning to become one. That there is someone out there you can depend on and be your person. I think we all need that and The Wrecked One was a great story told of a beginning for both of them... not a second chance, but the start to a life worth living with someone you truly love. This story had all the feels and the HEA is exactly what you would hope for these two characters and what we can expect from Brittney.

This book deserves 10 stars!!!
I've been a huge fan of Brittney's books for a long time and have been waiting (not so patiently ????) for Oliver and Mya's story and it was way better than I ever could have imagined! It had all the elements you want in a book in this genre. The romance, heartache, and suspense were off the charts. This story will keep you glued to the pages with so many twists and turns you will never see coming!
This is her best book yet, and she knocked it out of the park as the last book of the Falcon Falls series!!!
