About this item

Pretty rings can’t always fix broken things.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t stop powerful men from trying. Which is why instead of getting the wedding I’d always dreamed of, I was forced to marry the heir to our rival company and join a family that we’ve hated for generations.

An arranged marriage to make our problem disappear.

Then again, I’m the one that snuck around behind my father’s back and ended up at the center of a scandal that could ruin my family’s reputation.

Now the only person who can protect me is the cold and calculated billionaire, Archer Moore.

The marriage was only supposed to be for show, but Archer can be very convincing. He’s demanded we move in together. That we kiss. That we make it look—and feel—real. He’s a man who is obsessed with getting what he wants—and I’m starting to think what he wants is me.

But the closer we get, and the less we pretend, the more I question if the grudges between our families are too much to overcome for a marriage that was built on pretty rings and broken things.

Pretty Rings and Broken Things is a billionaire, arranged marriage romance. It is Winnie's book and a complete standalone.

| contemporary romance | dual POV | billionaire romance | new york | forced marriage | enemies to lovers | feuding families | heiress | family business | slow burn |

This was such a great story. I absolutely adored the love story of Archer and Winnie. From the very beginning the story line interested me. This got interesting quickly. In comparison to the first book, this was a slow burn blossoming romance.

I thought the first story was great, but I definitely favor this story. There was a lot of tension and desire between the characters. The building of the characters, the backstories, and the romance built very evenly. The pacing was perfect.

I really loved Archers character and I found Winnie to be charming. I think they both found a person who fulfilled them and made them better. I adored this story. I can’t wait to read the next one!

Happy Reading, Friends xx

Archer and Winnie have my heart. This is a spicy, family drama, billionaire romance. This has been one of my most anticipated reads of the year, and I was so excited to finally be able to sit down and read it.

I absolutely love Winnie. I think she is a sweetheart but on top of that she is a strong character. She knows her worth. She sets her own boundaries and she goes after what she wants. Archer is the definition of a black cat and a golden retriever because his love for Winnie Was so clear from the moment they met. (He’s only soft for her)

I forgot what chapter it was, but one thing that really stood out to me when I first started the book, which had me hooked was the way that he was already so protective over her. He grabbed her chair and slowly slid it over to him. It was one of the best opening scene in a book that really had me falling in love with the archer.

This book was spicy, entertaining, it was an arranged marriage, which typically is not one of my favorite tropes, but this was written so well. If you love a billionaire romance, a possessive male main character(he will do anything to protect her) and a female character who is witty, and strong, with a lot of spice, dirty talking, and swoon worthy moments I definitely would recommend this book. Let’s also not forget how archer is willing to do anything and spend anything for his wife????

And my favorite part no third act break up!

????arranged marriage
???? billionaire
???? possessive MMC
???? one bed

This book was amazing! Pretty Things and Broken things is my favorite book of this series. I read the books out of order but even starting with the last book first everything made sense. This book was so romantic. Kat Singleton is a very talented author! I want to say so much but I hate spoilers in reviews but I will say buy this book/ series you won’t be disappointed. This book is the kind of book you keep and read over and over. Really the entire series is wonderful and I plan to re-read all of the books.

This book was actually a cute, sweet little story-just not at all what I was expecting. I thought it was kind of cheesy in the end and I almost DNF.
It had a lot of inner dialogue that at times felt like too much words & questions for themselves.

Characters were likable but the story fell flat for me.
I expected more from the tropes listed but there was never really any build up to anything.

Archer & Winnie are supposed to be sworn enemies from rival families & they repeatedly say that in the story but there was nothing that made me believe it. Archer was always supposed to be "cold"- he never once came off like that in the story.

Overall this is a cute sappy love story with some spice. So if that's what you're looking for, I think you'll like it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Angsty and light-hearted

As you can expect from Kat Singleton, this book was angsty, funny, and spicy.
I love how the characters interact with each other. It is so refreshing to read about an MMC that has his wife's best intentions at heart. Winnie is an amazing FMC who is soft-spoken but strong and resilient. She will surprise you with her quick wit and spicy mouth! If you're looking for your next billionaire romance, go ahead and dive head first into this book!

Archer and Winnie both come from the same business world. Their families have been feuding for decades. When Winnie gets herself into a bit of trouble, Archer swoops in to save the day. The question is, can they put their family issues aside and make something beautiful out of a bad situation?

Archer - He is kind and guarded. He is always trying to impress his father and make sure that it is only positive if they're in the press for his families hotel business. When he meets Winnie, he has 1 goal, protect her and earn her trust. Archer Moore is a swoon worthy character who is possessive but also protects and cares for the people he loves. Get ready to fall in love with Archer Moore

Winnie- Winnie is soft-spoken and ALWAYS follows the rules. The one time she doesn't, she lands herself in hot water with her father and the press. In order to keep Winnie's secret, her family must create an alliance with their oldest rivals. After being manipulated, can Winnie learn to trust again? You will fall in love with both the sweet AND sassy side of Winnie!

I really enjoyed Black Ties and White Lies, so I knew I’d fall for Archer and Winnie in this one, and they did not disappoint.

It has all the fun tropes: age gap (really like 10-12 years, nothing cringy), billionaires (they both are), arranged marriage (to save the FL’s family from a scandal). It’s the perfect recipe for fun. There’s no 3rd act breakup, which I love. These characters surprise you with how all in they are in their arrangements and how hard they fall. They become a team, and it’s just a solid read.

Even though it’s a series, you can read them as standalones, but I’d start at the beginning. The FLs are all friends and we’re getting their stories.

Next up, Emma! I was hoping she’d wind up with Tyson, but I think this author has something creative up her sleeve.
