The Seal of Fire was unsealed successfully, though with a little bit of trouble due to the vessels being turned into phoenixes with no way to resume a human form. But such problems are for future Kaori to sort out, since the Lich Queen of Risen Athelia still has three more seals to release to stop the potential dam from breaking. The Seal of Earth is next on the list, bringing the Lich Queen and her companions to Chile.

Of course, the seals aren't the only issues that Akagawa Kaori has to deal with. Murena, her patron and the Onerthan Goddess of Death and the Hunt, has tasked her with building a temple in Egypt before the Seal of Death is dealt with. Not only that, but a rogue American spy agency is circling her disciples, hoping to influence her choices in the vessels to undo the future seals, and ensure American supremacy once magic is fully unleashed into the world.

Good thing the Lich Queen has had forty years of practice dealing with people trying to influence her, one way or another.

New info is dropped and a possible reason why the MC is having trouble with certain countries. Looking forward to the next three books if the author continues on the timetable of the previous books since two seals remain and the aftermath of magic returning promises to be explosive. Also looking forward to the prime seal since author hasn’t really hinted at what MCs plan is.
