Still here? I’ll give you the details but did try to save you the time. We’ve had this pan for 8 months and it is our favorite in the kitchen. It’s heavy, but not too much, and the nonstick is amazing. As such, we’ve been protecting it from the really dirty work so it didn’t get ruined, and cover with aluminum foil if it may be messy.
Well, I messed that up this week when I made some meat and vegetables in a balsamic glaze. The glaze leaked all under the foil and pan ended up with caked on sticky crust in all the corners. My sister-in-law and I were sad to know that the pan was ruined, but I wanted to try to preserve some of it if possible.
So we put some water in it while we washed other dishes to let it soak for a couple minutes. I told her I would just try. Well lo and behold, one wipe with my scrub brush and almost all of the crud came clean off. We stared at each other in shock, then the pan, then each other. With a few more wipes the pan was clean. No scrubbing. No muck. I didn’t take a before picture of the baked on mess since I had no plans for writing a review, but you can see the after. She looked at me and said “go write a review” and I said “I’m never buying another pan”.
