I bought this as soon as I saw it was available and I think it is perfect for soup/stew and rice. I love how you can hold everything in one hand. It holds a good portion too!

My kids and I love soup and we love making ramen. This set is adorable and incredibly well made. My spouse got it because it was cute and Sanrio themed, without realizing that it was actually a quality ceramic set. We've got other ramen bowls with lids and strainers that are all plastic, so this is a very nice upgrade. My teen was thrilled to find that it came with matching chopsticks and an awesome soup spoon that nestles into the handle.

I wish I read the reviews before I grabbed this. There were plenty posted before I ordered this. I’m a huge fan of Hello Kitty. I try to keep my collection to officially licensed items. I have several Silver Buffalo branded Hello Kitty items. The quality varies if you’ve been fortunate to find them in stores. I feel like the soup mug and bowl I received would be considered “seconds”. It’s cute, but there are some quality issues like uneven and rough spots. This has a nice weight to it. The design is not one of my favorites as I prefer 1990's Hello Kitty, but I liked the bowl and lid concept.

My daughter is into all things Sanrio, so when this popped up I thought she'd love it. It is SO CUTE! It's exactly as pictured and very good quality. I decided to save it for Christmas. I know she will LOVE this.

I love anything with Hello Kitty on it and this set is so cute. The large bowl has a handle on it which is perfect for holding when eating so I don’t spill anything. The smaller bowl is versatile because it can be used to hold side dishes or placed on top of the large one to allow noodles to steep. The ceramic is sturdy and high quality. This is a great value if you are looking for a gift for the Hello Kitty fan in your life.

I have no idea why but I thought this was going to be small. It's way bigger than I was expecting! You can use the "lid" as a separate bowl. It also comes with a ceramic soup spoon. I love this bowl set a lot and have already gotten a lot of use out of them. (:
