5.0 out of 5 stars These Wilton donut pans are wonderful!

These donut pans are really sturdy. I've ben using them for months and there is no sign of warping. Even though they are non stick I still spray a light coating of non stick cooking spray for extra assurance. The pans are easy to wash by hand. I don't know about washing in a dish washer because I don't have one. I love these pans for cake donuts and I have made many dozen since I got them. Very good quality.

5.0 out of 5 stars If you REALLY want homemade baked donuts

I bought these pans after a bad experience with deep frying apple cider donuts. (No accidents, just overdone and crispy.) The two recipes I used, for banana and then apple cider donuts (of the cake variety), worked very nicely in these pans. Properly oiled with PAM, the pan allowed the donuts to just fall out when inverted. No weird taste, no tough cleanup, no problem EXCEPT there are only two people in this household, so 12-15 donuts is about 10-12 too many. So unless you have a slightly larger household or can easily share with neighbors, don't buy these. Just patronize your local donut shop for single donuts and a cup of coffee.

5.0 out of 5 stars These are the best donut pans I've ever owned

I usually don't like nonstick coating on anything, but I'll make an exception for these pans. Donuts come right out after baking and the cleanup is so easy. I highly recommend these.

These pans are great. I love donuts but don't like the terrible ingredients from bakerys and big chains.. so we make our own. Perfect pan for perfect donuts. They are alittle on the small size, not mini, but small. So keep that in mind when making baked donuts.

5.0 out of 5 stars Makes easy homemade donuts

These nonstick pans made great donuts at home and were easy to clean when we were done. We made apple cider donuts and there are lots of donut recipes online so the flavor options are endless. Healthier to make your own donuts as well w/o all of the preservatives.

The Wilton Non-Stick 6-Cavity Donut Baking pans, 2 count made a beginner look like a Pro! I couldn't be happier. I read many reviews about pans versus silicone, as well as the individual pan manufacturers. From what I read, I chose to go with a heavier metal pan for the longevity of quality use it has provided to many bakers. Next, I chose the 6-Cavity pans (set of 2) instead of the large, bulky 12-cavity pan others were offering. I felt it would be (like many specialty pans) bulky to store and I am short of space. **The Wilton set of 2 'spoon' together nicely, and have a low profile to start with. Since I purchased the "half" pans, they will be much easier to store requiring less real estate, so to speak. Next, it was important to me to have a Non-Stick surface, and not made of a teflon style of coating. Many offered it the slick coating I was searching for, but none were the grand slam like Wilton. Wilton provided the heavier metal I wanted as an heirloom piece. The compact set was designed for ease of storage. The premium slick surface checked the last box on my wishlist. Amazon's Prime next day delivery meant that I was making my very first batch of donuts on sunday night rather than the next weekend.

I was a bit worried about how the dough looked, how much shortening to use to grease the pans, and how long to leave them in the oven. In the end, these donuts baked themselves perfectly. When pulled from the oven, I inverted the donuts onto a cooling rack in order for them to cool enough to handle taking a quick dunk in melted butter and onto the Sugar Shower. The donuts literally fell off the pan. Not a morsel remained on the pan. Several reviews said they had tried with and without greasing the pan before adding the donut dough. All said it seemed to make no difference and one said it may even be better WITHOUT greasing the pan. I greased the pan and am in love with the results. The Wilton Non-Stick 6-Cavity Donut Baking Pans, 2-count are my happiest bakeware purchase in a long time. I wholeheartedly recommend them! Making the dough was surprisingly easy. Filling the pan was easy, too. there is a high spot in the center of each cavity, making each cavity look like mini bundt cakes. The dough rose and filled the cavity perfectly, and did not spread onto the top of the pan. I thought the cavity depth , size and shape were perfect! These are considered Average or Medium, versus Mini or Small, and Jumbo or Large.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great pan for baked donuts
Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2024
The pans work fine, easy release and cleaning, I discovered that I don't really like baked donuts, so I'm trying to figure out another item to bake in them, perhaps a cookie or pate a choux. A Bobby Flay recipe did mention that the tops will not be as browned as the bottoms which I found to be helpful, so as not to over-bake them! Glaze will conceal the color difference between the tops and the bottoms. If you want baked donuts, these pans are great and a good value!
