I absolutely love this tea kettle. The water boils quickly, there is a feature to keep the water warm, and the kettle is easy to handle. The only problem was that the top was missing. It wasn't attached to the kettle and it wasn't in the box. Very strange! Overall, it performs very well, appearance is great, and the value is excellent for the cost!

This is a great electric kettle. What can you really say about an electric kettle? It does what it is supposed to do, and it does it well. As soon as water boils it shuts off. Easy to clean. Looks nice on the counter. I use it constantly.

I have a whistling stove top kettle at home. I was visiting one of my daughters and she had an electric kettle by this brand. I was amazed at how well it works and how quickly it comes to a boil. I decided to buy one for my oldest daughter and she ABSOLUTELY LOVE it. It is not the same model, but made by the same Chefman brand. This is one product I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. If you are looking for an electric kettle that looks great, takes up minimal counter space, and holds a little over a quart of water which is a good amount. it is made of glass, so it should be handled with care. Not overly fragile. But, it is glass.

This is my first electric kettle. I had tried one while on vacation and decided to buy one.

Not knowing how frequently it would be used, I decided to shop for an inexpensive unit with 4☆ and up rating. Capacity was important, too.

The Chefman stood out.

It is a good size and rapidly boils water. The blue light while in use is attractive. I especially like the auto off feature. It shuts off as soon as it has completed boiling.

The on/off switch is the only feature I think is lacking. It is a piece of inexpensive clear plastic situated below the kettle handle. One presses it down to turn the base. This switch has a little play when off. It protrudes 1.25". My only concern is that it could snap over time.

I would recommend this product.

This kettle has optional tea infused to remove or keep on
The light is red when water boils and turns green for a hour to keep warm when you pick the kettle up the light turns off
Had blue light in the past and when water boiled blue light shut off the kettle
This also has auto shut off after boiling but kettle glows green until you pick up off the base

I bought this so I could have hot tea at work, and it works perfectly for that.
The Chefman Electric Kettle, 1.8L 1500W arrived nicely packaged. It was pretty obvious how to set it up, but instructions were included. With the carafe filled to the indicated line with cold, fresh water, it comes to a complete boil in appr. 8 minutes, and automatically shuts off about 10 seconds later.
It is a bit noisy for my cubicle. I haven't had any complaints yet, but I work with a great bunch of people. At home the noise would be no problem.
All in all, I am very satisfied, and I get my tea whenever I want it.
