    I bought the Sekaer Travel Electric Tea Kettle (model SY-618B) for its compact size and variable presets, and it has quickly become my go-to for making tea and coffee on the go. The small size is perfect for travel, easily fitting into my bag without taking up too much space. It’s also surprisingly lightweight for being made of sturdy stainless steel.

    What really sets it apart are the 4 variable temperature presets, which make it super convenient when I need a specific temperature for different types of tea or for coffee brewing. It heats up quickly and the auto shut-off feature gives me peace of mind, especially when I’m multitasking in a hotel room or a busy morning at home.

    I know it works. I know it’s clean. I use it daily. It’s easy to wash, very convenient and space saving, quiet, and heats up quickly. I travel to different work areas daily and I never know if there is a water kettle, or what condition it will be in. I can pop it in my tote bag or large purse.

    This is perfect for making hot water for tea, soup, ramen, hot chocolate, and even coffee.I. I use filtered water or bottled water and I am loving it.

    This is one of those things I wish I had years ago…. I use it daily and can’t be without it.

    Needed last minute travel kettle for hotel with no coffee maker or microwave (arrived same day). This travel kettle worked wonderfully and is a game changer. Capacity not huge at 13.4 oz, but small size makes it great for easy travel. Easy to use. Great kettle..

    I think this is a great product, but I had a lot of difficulty pressing the on/off button. Could be I have weak hands (I am older). I was able to get it going a few times and it heated water quickly, that is great! But I could never RELIABLY get it started or set at the right temperature. It was hit and miss to start it which in the long term is not good. So, I returned it. Got a second one (delivery was fast) and the same problem was there. I returned that for a refund (acknowledged right away and refund showed up in about 10 days). Customer service was fantastic!

    Was it me or the product? I watched the review videos and the ones that include footage of the device being turned on included a beep sound when button was pressed to turn it on and I never heard that on the two I tried out. The beep mechanism did work as it beeped when the water reached temperature.

    My final thoughts are, this heats water fast, looks good, and is a compact size. If it doesn't work out for you, customer service is fast and great...so, if you like the looks of it and other reviews, it is worth a try.

    I love this sleek, slim, portable kettle! It was purchased specifically to heat water to 195 degrees for my morning cup of coffee in an AeroPress. It is so simple and easy to use - just fill with water or other liquid, screw on the top, plug it in, press the button to one of the four preset temperatures, and done! It beeps when finished and will hold to temp for up to 12hrs., according to the instructions. (I didn't test this since I use the heated water right away.) The stainless steel inside is easy to clean, although the unit cannot be immersed in water since the detachable cord plugs into it. It holds 380ml of liquid to the max fill line. The instructions say it can be used for heating soups or other liquids but I've only used it for water. It heats the 200ml of water I need for my AeroPress in a few minutes, takes up very little counter space, and is portable for travel. The only improvement would be to add a USB charging option so electricity isn't required when traveling. I can't speak to the durability since I've only been using it for a few weeks, but it has worked great so far. Love this little device!

    Worked as expected and stated.
    Heated fairly quickly and kept the water hot.
    It is a little noisy when heating.
    Portability and quality are very good.
    Cleaning is a breeze with a bottle cleaning brush which is not included.
    Auto shut off was very helpful and effective.
    There was no taste difference to the water after it reached boiling point. Used spring water.
    Time will tell if it’s durable and if any rust appears. At which point I will update my review.
    Primarily used for traveling in hotels and cruises.
    Overall highly recommended.

    It’s been a year now that I been using this small water warmer or kettle. It’s portable fast and it really do get hot. I used it as a bottle water at the airport and used it to make soup late at night or coffee in the hotel when you first wake up. Although it does not retained heat for long but it served its purpose, I can’t complained about it, has multi-purpose. I gifted most of my travel buddies with this same brand It’s been more than a year now and it’s still working. Currently, I bought the dual one for international and the cordless one (but heavy but retain heat). I do loved this brand so far so good. It’s lighter to carry.

    This is great for work or travel and I love that it’s stainless steel. However, it’s just too narrow to get my hand in to effectively clean so I wish it was a bit wider. I’ve tried a bottle brush but it never seems to clean as well as I’d like. Not as quick to heat as my full size kettle I use at home but it gets the job done. Very sturdy.
