    The struggle of opening a bottle with a waiter's corkscrew is over! Don't often need a corkscrew & wanted to save $. Never tried the winged design before & am very happy with this basic version. Ran it through the dishwasher and it became discolored, but still works well. Good value for money, quality seems hit or miss but overall very happy with purchase.

    It’s pretty cheap built but it’s also a cheap price so it works out. Lasted 6 months for me so far with no issues and it does the job.

    A good opener died, I rushed, went cheep and I’m not impressed. It’s cheep feeling.
    Compared to what I had in hindsight….

    I don’t like the feel. It’s light and flimsy.
    I’ve discovered the traditional corkscrew design like this is harder. What I had and need is the the drill style. This fights to get started.

    I’m also think the type is too sort. If you twist it all the way in and then then handles down i have to work to get the remaining 1/4 or so of cork out. It seems like it should extract more cork before the handles are fully down.

    Cheep. I know better. Might work for you. 3 issues I've have and I should have spent a few bucks more.

    Was happy with this purchase. Works perfect, seems to be great quality over the last few months. And priced very well. Thank you so much for being a fair seller. My fancy wine opener broke, so I am sticking to old school manual now. I'll be going back to the old can openers too.... just less drama with simplified openers and saves space. Forget the fancy folks, go to simple.
