    The balls get stuck, when used with syrups, the flow won't stop.
    Notice from the photos, that white piece is not there normally.
    I have placed a small piece of a torn up cotton ball, in the opening, over the air inlet hole.
    This is to prevent fruit flies from getting into your container.
    Again,
    it is just a torn up cotton ball that I have lightly stuffed in there, so air can flow, but fruit flies can't get into the container.

    With this product, fruit flies will get into syrups and flavored liquors that smell like fruit.

    With a few adjustments and some quick thinking, not really that bad after all.

    I grabbed these Measured Liquor Pour Spouts, and man, they’re awesome! If you’re like me and enjoy making cocktails at home, you know how easy it is to over-pour or mess up measurements. These pourers take all the guesswork out of it, measuring out the perfect shot every time—no jigger needed!

    The spouts fit securely on most standard liquor bottles (they were a snug fit on my Jack Daniels and tequila bottles), and the flow is super smooth, not too fast or slow. It’s great for consistency, especially if you're hosting and want each drink to taste just right.

    Pros:
    • Easy to use – Just pop them on the bottle, and you’re good to go.
    • Accurate pour – Perfect for beginners or those who hate measuring.
    • Durable and solid build – Feels like it’ll last for a while.

    Cons:
    • Some wine bottles or funky-shaped liquor bottles might not work.

    First issue is that this doesn't work on several bottles, such as the large Cointreau bottle (which no longer has the plastic insert) or some of our tequila bottles that have wide a wide lip around the opening. Also, the pour seems inconsistent, e.g. less than 2 oz.

    These pure stoppers Are pretty cool. It is my first set so I'm not sure what sets them apart from other brands. But these work very well as simple as popping them inside of your chosen bottles and you are off to the races. I will be using these on my more exclusive bottles to control my friends who like to overpour LOL. I have tried these on a number of different bottle shapes which of course does not change anything but also corked vs screw top. So far it fits every bottle and only one bottle. Did it not fit well enough for me to leave it on there. But other than that they are pretty versatile... Getting a three pack for a few bucks. Seems like a good price I guess. I do like that. The the tops of the stoppers come with a rubber lid to make sure nothing can crawl inside of your bottle. If you are using one of these, that's something that should be in use at bars all around the country but I understand it will take a lot of time to get them off and put them back on in between every drink that a bartender makes.
